Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
What might Nis know about the "Elven Wars" Senior lord Gallowhawk referred to?
Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
It is common knowledge amongst these lands so Nis would be well aware of these facts, even though she called the great Isle of Innisfree her home until traveling to Aisland. The wars did not happen in her homeland but in the Southlands where she now travels. Roughly 200 years past as the kingdoms of man grew, they claimed more and more of the forests and seaside cities on the east coast (Emereal was one) which originally belonged to the elves. Their borders shrank more and more from the encroach of Man that war broke out. Actually more a series of bloody skirmishes and perhaps malevolent forces were behind them breaking the alliance between man and elf. Eventually, the elves (or the vast majority) rather than continue a bloody war in which they were greatly outnumbered withdrew from the lands. Some going to Innisfree, where there already was a large population of elves who lived in peace with the more primitive human tribes who dwelt there (as well as many druids). The greater majority went to live on the Isle of Magh Meall, which was entirely populated by elves. Magh Meall does not allow any but elves to live permanently there.
So there remains an intolerance (at least among some) towards elves in the three kingdoms and those who live there face various forms of prejudice. The greatest populations of elves are found in Emereal (a shadow of its formerly great city) and the tree town of Birdsong (wood elves mostly).

Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
Hmm I appear to have been a terrible player and not noticed that there has been a new topic going for pages now....is Torvik in that group still or did he get split off?

Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
Glad to see you are still here GreyWolfVT! Here's a brief followup on where Torvik is. He dispatched his three recruits to accompany several party-members as they journeyed throughout the city of Gull's Landing. Torvik himself stayed with Thena and Bryne, while Kade went with Niserie to meet a witch who can communicate with De'Athyra. Upon Niserie's return she, Thena, Bryne and Sigismund attended a dinner party held by Mave's family while Torvik and Kade waited outside.
Wilwarin and Ruskin went to investigate the scribe's shop where she is to meet Zedamande. There they were set upon by a group of rogues.
Abaessa and Vari went to meet with Abaessa's father, who attended the dinner party and apparently is unaware his daughter is in town so the fate of those two are unknown as of yet.
Now realizing Wilwarin must be in trouble since she didn't appear at the dinner, Thena, Bryne, Niserie and Mave are rushing to the shoppe along with Torvik and Kade to determine what is going on with Wilwarin and Ruskin.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
Thanks. I think it should say 3rd level but it doesn’t change the roll.
Ed, I think your hp should go up 5 not 4.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
Why? It's HP + Con halved for dual-class

Re: OOC: Out of Character Chatter
Half of 7 is 3.5 which rounds to 4 plus 1 for Con is 5. At least that’s how I have always done it.
