Is there a way to set up a character alias, similar to how the Paizo boards do it?

I’m also failing to deduce how to roll dice in these forums, though peeking into other campaigns shows it’s possible.

I’m sure it will.

Sir Athan is a classic adventurer trope and a classic noble knight trope. He’s a sword and board fighter (technically paladin of Iomedae) with a few auxiliary weapons for bypassing basic DR and a shortbow for ranged fighting. He will eventually buy himself a warhorse and spend some time in mounted combat. I also hope that in the distant future if we get that high level, he can trade up his war horse for a Pegasus for those times aerial combat comes into play.

Personality wise, Athan does what is right and just and noble and honourable. He is ruled more by grace than law but unrepentant evil will find no quarter with him. He is also chivalrous, viewing women as individuals in need of his protection, which might not sit well with the female-majority party.

Sorry, I've been trying to finalize all the characters before starting, we're just waiting on the last one, but I don't see a reason we can't begin and have that character join later.

So just to clarify, the PCs all already know each other/have been travelling together, and we are new to this town?

Thena, Mave and Athan barely know one another, as well as any others who decide to join them. They only met a couple of days past as a small group traveling to Lupre. None except Thena (who was born there) have been to the town before.

Sorry I’ve been silent lately, but I must admit to feeling a little confused. I suspect a lot of it has to do with me still getting used to this medium vs the Paizo boards.

I’m not 100% certain who the PCs are yet and who are NPCs, as some I believe are PCs are having interactions with NPCs that seem like the coda of some previous adventure (which I’m guessing is connected to back stories, but it feels like I’ve joined a campaign already in progress). Some PCs already know of some places and events (again, I’m guessing that you have incorporated some backstory elements when appropriate). Jaymin is a stranger to this part of the world, so it makes sense for him to feel a little lost. Also, some PCs seem to have entered the scene later than others, which isn’t helping.

My understanding is that the PCs are Jaymin and five ladies: Zaella a wizard, Thena the innkeeper’s daughter (a cleric), Mave a warrior, Reggie a brawler, and now Wilwarin an elf. There also seems to be a young cleric named Davion, but I gather he isn’t a PC.

Also, I just happened upon a thread titled The Dream, which I’m not sure how I missed before, but it explains why others seem to know about this strange inn already: I assume we have all had this dream, though we may not have voiced this fact yet to each other.

If it’s not too much trouble, would it be possible to get some sort of synopsis of this introduction and arrival in town, along with the cast of characters? Meanwhile, I’m going to have another read through everything to try to sort it out on my end.
