Quest #38 "Betwixt Water And Stone"
Re: Quest #38 "Betwixt Water And Stone"
Keg reluctantly agrees with Luther. I agree this thing is too dangerous to leave but we need to plan a proper hint for it. I dont want that thing charging into Clifftown. Something wasnt right when it looked at me. It was like I was fighting for my life... in an actual way like its gaze was deadly.

"We better get moving. The further we are from the beast, the better. Are you all alright? He says while sheathing his sword.

The Knife
The Knife nods at Wakes proposal."I agree. If we're not going to finish it off, let's get away from it."

Amun
"Beast hit with tail but Amun had worse injury."
She joins the others, ready to go although obviously in some pain from where the beast hit her in her chest.

Luther
Luther looks puzzled when Keg tells how the beast affected him. Wow. Definitelybad news. I think I heard of something....
How bad is it, Amun?

Amun gives a warm smile back to Luther.
"Thank you friend. Amun will live another fight, then she will have to rest."

I will wait a bit longer to see if there will be any healing done here.
An actual direction might also be helpful for me.

Amun looks almost ashamed.
"If brother can spare then Amun would gladly accept. So Amun can strike your enemies down before death closes in on her."
Luther is more hurt but maybe this is okay? Amun is closer to going down due to low level.

Wake
Wake will use is remaining magic to heal both Luther (only 1 HP healed) and Amun (4 HP healed)

The Knife
The Knife stows his darts back amongst his gear as he watches Wake cast his spells. "It's a good job that creature ran off in the direction we've just come from. I reckon that means we can carry on East towards the cliffs without any problems now." He looks expectantly at Luther.

Luther
Luther looks a bit baffled at being called the Leader, but nods. Yeah, we know what to expect along the cliff face. Let's get back to Clifftown and report in. He heads that way, sword in hand.

Keg
Grumbles a little, but those that have been around him know that is just... well... him. I agree, but at some point we need to figure out what is between the cliffs and the river. If we are going to come back to finish that beast off, that might be the time to do it. I don't want the farmers clearing brush to stumble onto that damned thing. It would be a bloodbath.
