scottjen/Zahn sent me an email wondering where Arden Vul was located in relation to Burdock’s Valley and upon inspection I realized I cropped too much of the top of the map. I realize I may have caused some confusion and the mistake has been rectified in the Maps subthread.

As I work out the random wilderness encounter rolls, please put down both outside and indoor (assuming corridors are 10' wide) marching orders as well as any nightime watches. I'll put them in a new forum thread as it will be permanent until such a time it needs to be changed. As I see it, keeping to the cliffs at the west, i counted roughly 69 miles, rounding it up to a nice easy 70 miles. At twenty miles on foot I'm going to make it four days (I'm including the time to search for a ford and cross the Gold River) till they reach Deepton, barring any unforseen circumstances. Make sure you have the provisions before starting out. So four days, three nights optimally. Sound good?

Sounds good. Maybe Zahn up front outside since he is a Ranger. I don't care where Finnr ends up but as a healer he might be better somewhere he can move to support.

Zahn is out front ahead of party to scout when outside (with bow ready). He will be within sight (except when not possible & will give other instructions then) and will have a few basic gestures known to the party such as: Help, prepare ambush, come quietly, run.

Chris will hang at the rear of the party, watching their backtrail and to either side. Both indoor and out. As for watches, he will take first watch when they bed down.

Sorry guys, I have a medical issue that appears worse than originally thought. The prognosis sucks and I’m having surgery in the morning. I’ve been in a blue funk and neglected to tell everyone, so my apologies. I’ll keep you informed. Wish me luck.
