Chapter 03: Elusive cultists

Korin tries to pry Richard's hand from his beard and moves away from the man drawing out the dagger he found. The dwarf moves into a defensive position "Easy with tha beard yah durned fool. Alright I guess I'm gonna have ta open that there door then yah all best be ready." the dwarf will move to the door search for traps and attempt to pick the lock. provided I hadn't already tried both of these. if able to he will try to open the door that Richard claims to have seen the woman through.

to Korin: "Should I punch him?"

Korin to Tiny "Eh? Punch who?"

"Duh, that guy who pulled your beard."

Richard slumps back to a lying position on the floor, and calls feebly to Korin as he moves towards peephole door: "Be gentle with her...deep down she's just a little girl".

The peephole door reveals no more traps to Korin than when Thorelf checked it a minute ago, and it is still as unlocked. He opens it easily. Through the crack he catches a glimpse of a much larger room, with furnishings - but no movement.

Back out in the 'table and chairs' room, neither Thorelf nor Eaton can make out where anyone might have escaped to - if at all. The door on the 'south' wall is closed, as is the one opposite them, on the 'western' wall. The smashed down secret door in the 'northwestern' corner is still in ruins.

Korin shakes his head at Tiny "No save your punches for a real enemy." he then sheaths the dagger and opens the door with one hand still on the handle of the dagger ready to draw it should need be required. After opening the door the dwarf steps back a bit.

While Korin fiddles with the door, Thorelf suddenly looses his temper and grabs Richard by the collar, pulling him closer, wheezing:

"Listen now and listen carefully. That woman is not in any way innocent! She murdered our two friends in cold blood back by the cells. So quit yer wining boy and get with the program!"

He the puts Richard down and follows Korin into the next room.

"Now we need to get out of here before anyone sounds the alarm."

Tiny follows Korin into the next room, sword at the ready.
