Weirwood Quarterstaff made from roots taken from the Green Man Barrow, the staff is silver-tipped and imbued with Silvanus blessing to channel the Shillelagh spell effect, thus increasing its 'to hit' and damage output, functioning as a +1 staff (though it is not magical and the Shillelagh effect will only function in the hands of a Silvanus cleric). Damage is 2d4 s/m or 1d4+1 vs large.

Str 10, Int 9, Wis 15, Dex 15 (-1 AC), Con, 8, Cha 9

Wisdom bonus +2 x 1st level , +1 x 2nd level spells. Normal spell loadout is:

latterly in the Defilement & Sacred Groves expedition, she was touched by a Wight but through Silvanus blessing, was able to redeem her 2nd level cleric status at the cost of permanently losing her thief class skills.

rescued from being held captive and charmed by Harpies to be used as brood-studs for the next season of chicks... Last seen leaving the spring water creek camp after it was beset by vultures and a harpy. They were seduced by her song and followed her into the mist. Their fate remains unknown.

Torchbearer guards: 1/2 share xp between them (so 1/4 each) and 1/2 trove.

Treat as F1: 10/10 guild rating (so 20gp hire cost each plus 2gp daily wage).

Crabtree, wagon driver for the Silver Standard. Accompanying the Crooked Yew' expedition.

Later to accompany Golgarth to Bogtown as driver for the Silver Standard cargo and enrolled by Deucalion to drive a wagon of supplies under the care of Cadeweed to the Barrow Mounds.

The wagon was attacked by carnivorous apes en route and unfortunately, Crabtree was dragged away and unceremoniously 'Bone Tomahawked' apart, as they feasted upon his flesh.

Deceased: July 11th 1066.

Lord Krothos

Krothos Ironguard, youngest son of Duke Kell Ironguard of Aerik and heir to the Duchy since the untimely death of his elder brother, Perafin. His promotion from 'spare' to heir though has not be favourably received.

He may grant an audience in the Old Manse or perhaps be found swanning around the seedier side of town.

He is of average height and build, greying hair despite his age. He wears a new gilded crown, taken from the tomb of Silas, Chieftain of the ancient Mercian peoples.

Mazzah 'the Magnificent'

A human mage, tanned skin and piercing blue eyes. He looks above middle age but not elderly though he walks with a staff and often accompanied by a 'supposed' familiar, a black cat, crow, toad, rat.

He is a member of the Collegiate Arcanium in Ironguard but has taken residence here in the village.

Amos. "I found faith in prison. I have made a vow not to spill more lifeblood, dangerous creatures and undead aside. My redemption is but to serve." the heavily tattooed cleric wears lighter studded armour and is possibly half eleven though the numerous piercings disfigure his ears.

Edit: 30/6/23: Amos advances to C3 and released from Mercenary contract, joins Sven as retainer.

as a cleric of Arcantryl, he has also learned the Mage spell Shield and can cast Read Magic as a daily Cantrips.

He wields a Quarterstaff as his 'pact weapon' and a short sword for monsters or creatures.

So: Here are the spell details:

1): Provocative Tongue: the spell caster can utter a taunt or vicious mockery of an opponent/s, (they must be able to understand you, so not mindless like zombies), causing them to suddenly agitate in a temporary berserk rage that causes them to lash out with words/ actions of their own to those around them. You can affect one person plus one per level. Persons targeted get a saving throw vs spells, save negates effect. Fails and if they already have weapons drawn, they will lean towards striking out at the nearest opponent with a berserk, angry attack.

great for instigating tavern brawls and pile-ins.


2): Wrathful Visage: 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'

spell cast upon yourself or another. Causes viewers of their face to save vs spell or be become terrified, rooted to the spot or flee in panic as if under the effects of a Fear spell. The exact manifestation of angry face' can be determined by the spell caster so you can narrate suddenly gaining writhing snake like hair and a medusa like appearance or take on lion like animalistic features, entirely down to personal choice. The spell if successfully cast also causes those who fail to be susceptible to further mind influencing spells or actions as they take in a natural instinct to placate your impending wrath. (So for example casting a Command, Charm or asking them to turn over those Gucci items, they do so with a penalty to any saves or reactions).

The spell duration lasts for one round plus one per level.

Both of these are pitched as 1st level spells for either mages or illusionists. To learn according to the transcription rules, it will take you two days each and spending 50gp to acquire whatever unlisted material components might be necessary.

Gnimish & Treyvor, two artificer apprentice gnomes working with Konrad as the 'Innovative Connoisseurs'.

Offered to accompany Sven's group on expedition. They have a portion of Barrowmaze mapped on a parchment though the location is unknown.
