We are using the Striker rank pay/share ranking, with additional shares for Jess and Prerna so they have the same number as Frank.

It will have to be updated for the new troop compliment so we can work out the new total number of shares, etc.

I would suggest we set aside a portion of the 5MCr, say 1MCr , to be divvied up as per shares. In this case I think Frank, Jess and Prerna would get around 110kCr each, and Frank would feed his back in to the company for sure. We give out too much and our troops will retire

I'm not sure how we can give out enough for the new PCs to buy back in. Maybe there are other ways, such as Jakob's mercantile and educational assistance earning him a share.

Wasn't there a 400dT ship we were looking at getting? It sounds like 4DC is claming it.

Deliverance 400t Patrol Corvette

Saxon 200t Trader (no computer/electrics)

Both the above are in the same berm together with Hawkwind a Sword World 200t trader which still has the original crew aboard so is rather more tricky to steal.

Viper's Nest 400t Trader/ Aux Carrier (with 10t fighters)

4DC have bagged a 500t Maru class Trader

The Vargr have Abyss a 440t Corsair and Nazareth a 200t Trader

So honours are more or less even as far as tonnage per amount of fighting goes.

We also have Saxon, but she will need extensive repairs. The suggestion was put forth to set up a partnership with a crew willing to make repairs and operate the ship.

Ensuring that the munitions to be disposed of are far enough away, Jakob would suggest to Frank that SEMC now has some fighters, and maybe some fighter pilots or wannabes, and they could try their hand at shooting the munitions to earn their spot on the fighter pilot team.

Apologies if I missed something, but we do we have any fighter pilots, and do we want to risk the fighters in the hands of amateurs?

I think that you need Ship Boat or Pilot to fly a fighter, so I think this is the same limit we have been dealing with.

Freya is a pilot, and didn't we have some guy that said he could fly anything? They could filter out the "Grav-0" crowd and identify the actual pilots. If someone is a pilot then they could get an orientation to the craft, and try. There may be none, but then again, giving someone the chance my be useful for unit morale, even if the individual doesn't make the cut. Since SEMC is going back to Collace, trying this here means that anyone who has the drive can plan on learning, maybe even before the next op. Someone is going to have to fly them, and it'll be better if it's someone who has proven themselves to the unit as opposed to someone who just answers an advert.

SEMC is going to have ships, too, so all of the engineers BwT mentioned are already a hiring need. Either we step up and accept the Cost of Doing Business (CoDB), or we stay like we are. That's for Frank, Prerna, and Jess to decide.

I seem to be unable to find the document with the shuttle pilot we hired. Hopefully the stats are on the forum somewhere, but I haven't found them yet.

I'm not sure letting aspiring pilots "try out" by taking fighters on a precision ground attack run is your best idea. Perhaps "circuits and bumps" in the shuttle would be safer?.

Not aspiring, they have to already be a pilot; Freya and Lynn can filter out the aspiring but unskilled. When they get back, some may choose to learn, and earn a spot.

No, but I have various sub plots and threads to end off and therefore posts may be slightly out of chronological continuity (as per the initial OOC in my last which may have not been sufficiently clear).

So there may be a brief period where (some of) these threads run in parallel but won't interfere with each other.

As all know "crossing the streams" is bad!

On the pilot training idea, it's my gaming style. I like my characters to develop NPCs and relationships as much, if not more, than shooting bad people. Sometimes nothing comes of it, somethings it's purely backgruond, and sometimes it's a huge shift.

Things I'm not sure we have covered...
1) Post take-over governance of the port. Who is going to be governing the port when we have gone? Why will that group not just reset itself as a Pirate haven?
2) Who were the Zhodani? Why were they there? What was their end-game?
3) What were the Scouts doing?
Could someone tabulate the allies/interested parties around SEMC as I am confused.
