Emily, as ex-navy, knows how this ends. "Drink up unless you intend to get in on the festivities." She'll toss back her drink and nod toward the door out, looking to duck out after the marines clear the exit, if the others are agreeable.

"The proprietor of this establishment is a Scout, and he wishes to not have anyone disturb his other customers. I trust that you are all professional enough to air whatever differences may arise in a civilized manner while you are in this establishment." She looks between the people present for reactions and responses.

He looks around at the others with him, "Right Marines?" and gets nods, Ayes, and Yes Sergeant from all sides.

It would have been an embarrassing display all round and not at all the sort of thing to aid digestion".

"Carry on." She turns, and, seeing Carlos right behind her, steps around him with a subtle wink. She returns to the table and sits down. "What? You thought they'd be disrespectful to an officer? I'd have been mightily dismayed, and they'd've been in far more trouble that it would have been worth."

There is some hunting out in the lowlands and on the mostly wild savanna lands. Safaris can be booked if you want to hunt wild game. It's a participating democracy with a pretty laid back attitude. Individual liberties and responsibilities are stressed rather than governmental intervention in people's lives. The Starport is standard C, so refined fuel and very simple repairs are available, but with no bases don't expect anything else. With no gas giants you can't fuel that way, but almost 3/4 of the surface is covered with liquid water and that's how ISS ships with fuel refiners refuel. All in all a pleasant world, the very standard for a "garden world", in fact.

Soon, it's time to go back to the ship. What do you say to Pavel about joining the crew?
