Not going to lie - heavily leaning toward Pathfinder 2e...in the world of Golarion.
There is room for your current characters in there!
So don't think you need to roll up a new character...unless you just want to. ;)

This is pretty cool:

I think Pathfinder 2e looks good from what I’ve seen, I haven’t actually played but have been going through the rules and some tutorials
I’m up for giving it a shoot

I will read through it. I watched the YouTube link. To be honest though I am struggling for time personally and already learning a new system for Bluetongue's Spire game and the 5ed D&D/2e Path crossover still has lots of new things to learn.

hey guys, here are a couple of more resources on pathfinder 2.0

character builder, really easy to create a character, walks you through all options and makes all calculations

Pathfinder looks cool!

Question, how should I port Yarl over?
Should I rebuild him as a lvl 1 character and then give him xp and level him up to current level?
There would be differences but it could work.

yea, i've been going over the rules also and trying out building characters, the application below has been very helpful, you pick the options and it starts to add up
i've tried a few character builds including trying to port tommy to the new rule set, i think a bard might be the best fit but still trying to figure it out, i think once we know more about the story i'll decide on what to play, there's a lot of cool options that i want to try out :)

is under human,
pick human "ancestry" first, then there'll be 1/2 elf, 1/2 orc and human "heritage" options under it :)

The builder is frustrating.

Nothing in gear for boots. No way to create an item. Yarl has a Ring of Warmth, dont know how to add it.

Also, as a Pathfinder question, whats the deal with unarmed fighting. I have Yarl specialize in it but that doesnt appear to be an option.

Yes, it takes some time to get used to. I haven't looked at gear yet, but I think the fighter is already trained in unarmed fighting. However, there should be some additional feats in the fighter section, such as a dedication feat that opens up feats and abilities from other classes. For example, at second level, characters can take a martial artist dedication, weapon improviser, monk dedication, or wrestler dedication.

On the tool, at second level, under class feats, there is a section called "dedication feats."

Learning the system and tools can be a bit of a curve, but the tool looks very complete, albeit a bit clunky. If we can't find everything there, we can always add things on the side.

Howdy fellers > thinking about archiving this game and prepping for the next with a new forum.
Will likely work on that this coming week.
Not sure when the new forum will be up; need to do a bit of recruiting too.

You going to do an epilogue to give each character an ending?

Checking in...how's everyone doing?
I know C+1 and Bel are gaming along, and I think Spearmint is too. Tell, you around?

Seeing sulldawga's interest check for a 5E game led me here...and dammit, I miss this game! 8-)

I still have Ambergris archived.

How does Pathfinder differ from D&D 3.5th?

If you reopened this, would you carry on in 5th ed or change systems slightly?

Anyone played Baldur's Gate III on console yet?

Pathfinder and 3.5 are fairly similar; Pathfinder being spawned out of 3.5 and affectionately referred to as 3.75 :)
Pathfinder 2E, if I'm being honest, is even more difficult for me. Old dog and new tricks coming in to play, I guess.
So, I'm considering a re-launch with 5e as the rule set and a mixture of 3.5 thrown in for good measure. ;)

Thoughts?
