Korin tries to push through and attack the enemy with the mace (not currently being used).

Party
Initiative [1d6]=3
Guards
Initiative Adversary d6 roll [1d6]=2
The 'cellmates' gain initiative.
Eaton
's dark eyes narrow even more as his chanting mutates into the lower frequencies. A surge of divine strength suddenly permeates everyone's soul, inspiring all the party members to do well, Uthgar or no Uthgar. From next melee round, add +1 to all your combat rolls until further notice
Tiny
Attacks the male warrior again.
Thorelf
backs down, letting Korin through to the frontline.
Korin
tries to push through and attack the enemy with the mace - but the nearest possible foe is the male warrior with the lizardman tunic, so it is he who receives the blow.
Male warrior
turns his attention to Korin: "You! Will end up in the pool! With the others!!" and desperately bashes him:
Sword, long: to hit [1d20]=20, Damage S/M [1d8]=2 L [1d12]=10
for 2 hp of damage. Korin takes 2
Hooded man
now joins in the physical fight, by having a go at Tiny:
Mace, footman's: to hit [1d20]=12, Damage S/M [1d6+1]=2+1=3 L [1d6]=6
but misses.
Female warrior
adds to the male warrior's doom-tinged prophecy: "Yessss! Chained and sunk, with the others!" but:
Sword, long: to hit [1d20]=6, Damage S/M [1d8]=6 L [1d12]=1
just keeps hitting that wall instead of Tiny who she aimed at.
Small darting figure
backs out into the cell corridor.
Next round - roll initiative! (once is enough)

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
The fight continues!
Party
Initiative [1d6]=2
Guards
Initiative Adversary d6 roll [1d6]=6
The raging guards gain the upper hand this round, but seem to switch over to a slightly more defensive tactic. The hooded mystic backs off towards the doorway near the smaller figure, while the male & female warrior close ranks and form a wall in front of them, like this: The male warrior is looking a bit strained, but keeps jabbing away at Korin:
Sword, long: to hit [1d20]=9, Damage S/M [1d8]=5 L [1d12]=11
but the dwarf need not worry - it's a miss.
Eaton however is a more easy target for the female warrior, who swings her sword past Tiny to deliver the cleric a nasty blow:
Sword, long: to hit [1d20]=17, Damage S/M [1d8]=6 L [1d12]=1 Eaton take 6
......and then,
Tiny
attacked the hooded man. But as he had already retreated, Tiny's mighty sword hits the female warrior instead, and to everyone's shocked surprise, slices her down the middle! The gore factor is now notched up to previously unseen levels - there is blood absolutely everywhere. Oh, the horror!
Korin
bravely waves his sword against the male warrior but can't quite hit, while
Eaton
clenches his fists in the general frenzy....
At the end of this melee round, the positions are as follows: Party, roll 1d6 initiative for next round!
And btw, don't forget to to update hp loss on character sheets. Tiny -4, Korin -2, Eaton -6

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Thorelf will stay vigilant in the back. If the possibility arises, he'll snatch the woman's longsword (that, presumably, she dropped upon horrible death) from the ground. For example if the enemies retreat. He will not risk tripping his comrades or anything. If possible within the same turn, he will also attack nearest enemy with his new weapon.

Korin gives the sword slashing another try against the still standing foe.

Party
Initiative (group): [1d6]=6
Guards
Initiative Adversary d6 roll [1d6]=5
Although at first cornered, part-armed and possibly outnumbered, are our heros now beginning to gain the upper hand in this skirmish ? It's too early to predict, but their new found courage lets them strike first:
Tiny
lurches forward - but only manages a kind of a well-intended wobble. The foes easily avoid his deadly cleaver this round.
Thorelf
eyes the blood-spattered sword that the blood-spattered female warrior dropped on the blood-spattered floor. It is ready for the taking. But going for it would expose his rear to the male warrior who thus would benefit from lots of nice plusses. Go ahead or not ?
Eaton
summons the might of Uthgar once again; this time to heal himself, while
Korin
does the best he can with an unfamiliar weapon - but, too joins the wobble club. It is a miss.
"By the oath - revenge!" growls the
male warrior
although perhaps a bit less cockily than before. He manages to strike Korin but it is definitely the blow of a feebler foe:
Sword, long: to hit [1d20]=15, Damage S/M [1d8]=2 L [1d12]=5 Korin take 2 more
The hooded mystic
from his position, attempts to reach out and touch Tiny, while grunting something out of the corner of his mouth:
Adversary d20 roll [1d20]=9
but even his creepy fingernails aren't long enough.
The small figure
has disappeared out of the doors, into the cell corridor.
During a split second of silence in the noisy battle, everyone suddenly hears a sound out from the water filled hall. A hollow, flushing sound, something like <gloop-shloumpf>.
There are 2 (two) foes now remaining/standing in the jailer's room.
Party roll initiative!

Korin grumbles "If I only had me durned axe, I'd split yer damned skull ya scallywag!" he tries to retort while swinging the annoyingly foreign sword.

Thorelf shifts his weight between his two legs, but stays put as long as the enemy warrior is in the way. As soon as the warrior turns his head, moves away or goes down, Thorelf will dash for the sword, pick it up and attack the hooded person (or any other enemy in his way).

Party
Initiative [1d6]=2
Guards
Initiative Adversary d6 roll [1d6]=5
The foes grasp the initiative back - but aren't bold enough to exploit it properly. Facing such unexpected strength, what little was left of the remaining enemies' morale now crumbles completely.
The hooded mystic retreats backwards, as does the male warrior - but he is still within range of Tiny "the executioner"'s sword. And it's goodbye! The male warrior topples sideways from the devastating blow, and while doing so catches a finishing (although now superfluous) blow on the chin from Eaton, while Korin's sword lands on his boot. - - - The male warrior falls dead in a heap on top of the female warrior, both their souls now transported to some unknown plane.
The hooded mystic is gone. No living foes remain in the room. There is blood everywhere.
Thorelf easily picks up the female warrior's grisly crimson-stained sword.
Distantly, from down the cell corridor, in the direction the mystic + the small figure escaped, a huge roar is heard: <GRRROOOAAAARRGHHHH! WhhhoAAARKKKH!> and then a door slams somewhere nearby. Then silence.
It is early afternoon. Everyone feels pretty worn out.
Actions!

Korin searches over he defeated foes bodies for other things of use and preferably a better sword or axe.

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Thorelf quickly steps past Korin and the others.
"Look for keys or maps, we got to get away from here, quickly!"
He peeks out in the cell corridor, both right and left, to see if there's any trace of the enemies there. After that, he yanks his dagger out of the door, sheaths it and turns back, points towards the corridor that Korin and Eaton came from earlier ("exit 1").
GM is anyone of the other three party members visibly carrying a light source? If not, Thorelf will try to grab a torch or whatever light source is illuminating the guard room.
