(actually quite accurate)

Not too traditional myself I do LOVE the midsummer music (folk music that is). Also, my kids like the dancing part

This for example is the Swedish traditional/folk tune "Gärdebylåten". I simply love it.

Odd fact 1: midsummer festival may have its roots in the Norse rite of Blót: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bl%C3%B3t

Odd fact 2: I can play both the Gånglåt från Äppelbo and Gånglåt från Mockfjärd on the fiddle. Although not as well as these guys!

I am quickly coming to realize a small, but easily remedied, scheduling issue. I usually post at slow periods at work, and I don't do much online during the weekends or holidays, when you folk seem to get busy. I'll try to be a bit more attentive during my down time.

Basically, I check the forums as the kids have fallen asleep, so more a matter of time of day than day of week for me

Hey guys, no sweat, pressure or stress.
It's not a military operation but meant to be a fun game based on an open drop-in / tune-in concept. I myself can suddenly become freakishly busy at unpredictable times - I find that forum play offers great leeway for IRL surprises.
You all post when you can and feel like it. Main thing is that you are enjoying the company (and the game, hopefully) :)

oddly enough summer break is when i have so much stuff to do at the school I am so overwhelmed so yes busy i am, and after work i just veg. or the kids want to do something outside or family game wise. That or wife and i are grocery shopping. So my posting will be kind of at random/sporadic.

I post when I have time, which is usually when I get up and after work. Since I work off-shift these are not the same times as most in my time zone. The great thing about pbp is it doesn't really matter.

A little bird whispered in my ear...that Gebex singlehandedly slayed a demon in today's local FTF 1e game (which I had to leave early). Grattis - way to go, dude! :o :D :o

Hi all, seems like we're having a summer break? I mean, no problems at all, just checking in. I start work 100% August 23rd, so maybe that's a good target date to pick up the regular pace once more?

Hope you are all having a wonderful summer! :D

I work all summer so i have no idea what a "regular pace is" when i am off at other locations working with my fellow techs I have less time to do much else. Unfortunately because i am too far ahead in my own school I have been helping my colleagues.

Looks like I was supposed to say a route, I must have missed it somehow. I will post now.

Oh, that wasn't necessarily directed towards you - no, anyone who feels like the spokesperson for agreed group actions (i e the 'caller' in old school terms) is welcome to offer the requested input.
