She awkwardly replies to Carlos and Zaki with rising colour in her cheeks “I feel like one of those immodest entertainers who swing on a pole in Imperial bars!” Then with a defiant flare in her eyes she determines “I will wear my trenchcoat while I escort the Kapiten so the Imperial Navy will not ogle me while I am unarmed”.

Pedro and Sigrun leave the ship, walking away from the hatch along a metal gangplank to another airlock leading into the station proper. To their left they see a large umbilical connected to the ship's cargo doors to deal with the unloading, and eventual loading, of cargo.

Through the inner airlock and the pair enter the station. A large sign on the wall in front of them proclaims that the "Imperial Naval/Scout/Port Athority Offices" are "this a way"...a large arrow points to the left, and "Main Concourse" is "that a way"....another large arrow points to the right. A wide corridor runs left and right, while an even wider set of doors (now closed) with "Warehousing" is directly in front of them.

In the background you hear the faint strains of muzak playing something totally innocuous. The air smells slightly stale and has a hint of oil with a tang of ozone in it. The decks and walls are covered in a hard plastic that muffles sounds although you can hear the constant hum of machinery and electricity in the air. Overhead meter long strips of light give off a bright, but not garish, light to the area.

A working bot trundles past from right to left pulling a trio of wheeled trollies carrying boxes and pressure bottles. You can see from the labels the boxes contain life support supplies: air, water, Instameals, and canisters that go in ship's LS modules. All have the LSP brand on them.

The robot ignores Sigrun's greeting and continues on with it's short train of trollies.

Pedro and Sigrun fall in behind it strolling toward the Offices of the Navy and Scout Service down that corridor. It is only a short distance before you begin to see some foot traffic crossing the corridor you are in and going down corridors to your left and right. The folks you see are mostly wearing service uniforms, but some are in NWU (naval working uniforms, or fatigues) and all appear busy. There are few civilians among the service members, they appear less busy strolling along rather than walking with a purpose.

The robot and it's train turn left down a corridor toward a section called supply. A sign on the wall indicates that Admin Offices...and the ISS...is further down this one. It is a several minute walk before you reach a large set of clear double doors on your right labeled "IN Administration." As you near the doors they slide open and a brace of officers, a Commander and a Captain by their uniforms stroll out talking with each other and ignoring you.

Straight ahead clear double doors are labeled "ISS Adjunct." Some wag has taped a handwritten sign on the inside of one of the doors, "Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here!"

Looking about warily she breaks off "I'll tell you about it later, Kapiten - but I'm not abandoning my hope. Ridiculous Imperial sign..."

That's a quite good price, but you're sure that Edwardo could have gotten more, so it's a bit deflating for Carlos. Of course, you could reject the offers and transport it to the next system and try there.

You are seriously disappointed when you start asking around about the air/rafts. LSP says that you can not sell them here on Extolay! They are considered "Gray Market" and anyone that buys them here would violate the contracts they have signed. Other brokers agree, saying it wouldn't be worth losing their licenses to do it. However, LSP says they would take them off your hands for 50 kcr each. That's what you paid for them and you should get 3 or 4 times that on a fair market.

If you keep the air/rafts for now and sell the prawns for 132,000 you'll have 324.5 Kcr available after you pay all your expenses (including mortgage and resupplying for the next jump).
