Carlos attends in one of his best Hawashirts with Zaki on his arm.

Zaki is quite pleased to accompany him - and her limp is much subtler now.

Carlos is VERY pleased with her progress. "You know, love, I'm surprised they just didn't clone up the necessary replacement muscle tissue and transplant it into you. We REALLY need to get your biology fixed."

Pavel Porfirovich Rostnikov walks next to Dave, the old Scout in charge here on Extolay.

Dave says, "They seemed like a good crew and I know you really want to get off this rock, so I arranged a meeting with them tonight at Websters." finishing with a grin he adds, "Don't start a fight with the Swordy on their crew and you might get a berth out of here with them."

The pair steps off the moving slidewalk just a bit down from the entrance to Websters. Passing through the sonic curtain that is blocking the inside sounds from the outside Dave waves at the owner...Jon Webster...who points him toward a grouping of tables that have been shoved together in the alcove on the right side of the dining area.

Looking around, Pavel sees that Websters is only about a quarter full tonight. There's a group of 4 LSP'ers, from their jump suits, at one table near the center of the large room. Over to the left is a table full of Squids...Imperial Navy...making more noise than everyone else combined, 6 of them. Up at the counter seated on stools there are 3 more people, not seated together.

Dave says, "We're going over there." pointing to the tables in the alcove on the right as he heads that way.
