Speaking of equipment lists, we ought to sort those out for the new guys. Tiglath, SentinelCole, do you have the wherewithal to buy kit for your characters? Post in your private threads and we'll sort things out.

Hopefully we can get things done over the weekend and start an IC thread on Monday, at the latest ( we can start without finalising equipment ).

I've been working on background details for the warband, and it strikes me that the standard Traveller age-18 career start doesn't make sense for them. No technological society with advanced education system. The classic Viking starts adult life about 14, but that's a little too young.

I'm saying Raiders start at 16. First year is weapons training, second year first Raid. I'm sending you a bunch of 17 year olds.

Also, Raven should knock two years off her age.

Of course, since no skills have been used, you could put those years into another term....
