There’s a great reason why we “(our liberated fore-bearers) Americanized” a great deal of English (changed spellings, pronunciations, etc.)…Daniel Webster (founder of Webster’s American English Dictionary) was a veteran of the War of 1812. 😁

BTW, it’s July 4th. I’ll send Bindoner a box of fireworks next year so he can join us Yanks in celebration! 😁

The last thing we need is fireworks - the dog was wrecked by our neighbour's display when he was young, now he can't even be in the house when we light the fire.

I think remote ops gets a bonus from dexterity, so I just get the raw 2d6. Fortunately the roller decided to be nice to me.

Certainly, in this instance, Dex is the modifier. You have a point of skill too, I believe, so 9 overall?


Adequate, anyway - I'm just doing set-up, so really anything that isn't a fumble is fine.

Oh, duh. I apparently forgot how Traveller does skills. I was thinking having remote ops just meant I could make the roll.

It has gone quiet but I understand that The Bindoner despite being very busy is planning to resume the game.

I'm glad to hear Bindoner is hoping to pick things back up. Remington's slow descent into madness Oghmanism is a delight to play out! :D

Hopefully the stuff keeping him busy is the usual work/life obligations deciding to descend all at once, and not anything too rough.
