Act 2 Scene 5

Vonn tries to put Gatu back on the ground as the Half-elf thief slips and dodges around. Arran spots an opening and together with Vonn they do the old high-low attack as Arran drops to all fours behind Gatu and Vonn pushes her back and over. Gatu is prone at the feet of Vonn and Arran. I'm trying a new icon to identify prone.

With a rage born of frustration, Lug charges Ryany and bowls him over. With a surprising amount of force given the close quarters, the pair slide across the deck into the rails on the opposite side. Luckily Ryany's head stops them with a solid thunk before they both go over. Ryany is also prone, under Lug, and took some damage from the impact.

Facing two foes, Rogg is still outnumbered but fights on. A sudden burst of hidden reserves allows him to grab and lift Ulfang over his head, proudly displaying his prize. Ulfang is helpless to counter, his arms flailing about to grab air. The celebration is a bit too premature as Rogg's other opponent, Urin, jabs him painfully in the hip. 1 Damage, but you still have Ulfang up in the air, prepped for splashdown, or used as a club.

Tigilda the top-heavy gets a hold of Evan's leg, but the Thief-Acrobat has had years of practice avoiding commitment. He neatly slips his leg free in a maneuver he learned at the circus. In return, he steadies himself on the rail and pushes Tigilda overboard with a smile.Evan's tumble ability allowed him to slip free this time.

Chaos continues as more fists meet faces. Golfi of the Red team is spotted climbing the rigging to a higher vantage point. From the Kraken, Tarielye's voice can be heard over the melee. "That's the way! Now grab your clubs, boys, it's time to get serious!"

Act 2 Scene 6

Evan, ever interested in proving his worth against fair maidens, grabs a nearby belaying pin and strikes out at the fallen Gatu. A wood meeting bone results in a satisfying thunk as Gatu's eyes unfocus.

Vonn easily tosses the unresisting Gatu up and over the rail, a splash and sputtering indicate her watery arrival.

At the opposite rail, Lug has Ryany right where he wants him, but it unable to push him the rest of the way off. A jab to the gut has Lug gasping for air for a few seconds. 1 damage

Rogg twirls and wields Ulfang like a bat, smacking the half-orc into Urin. Urin staggers back from the blow, his steps unstable.

Ulfang writhes and twists, but is unable to break free of Rogg's grip.

The battle rages on, more blows are landed and dodged, but only Gatu is newly removed from the fight.

Rogg slams attempts to slam Ulfang down on top of Urin. Ulfang probably breaks loose.

using Ulfang as a mighty hammer [1d20] = 6 to hit, [1d6] = 1? damage

Lug makes a puzzled and frustrated face. He usually hits things really well! Wh is he having trouble with one puny opponent?

He tries again to push Ryany overboard.

Act 2 Scene 7

Evan and Vonn are proving to be a potent pair. Once more Evan slams his pin down upon a foe, this time Sared is the unfortunate victim. He drops to the deck in a heap, allowing Vonn to neatly heave the poor Gnome overboard. Fastholm is an ally, so I'm going to assume that you meant Sared.

At the opposite rail, Lug and Ryany continue their epic brawl still writhing about precariously perched at the edge of the deck. A quick twist and push from Lug, combined with a timely lurch in the boat, quickly has Ryany windmilling his arms as he plummets to the waters below.

Rogg raises Ulfang like a hammer and tries to bring him down upon Urin, but the move is well telegraphed as the Dwarf neatly steps aside. Right into the fist of the nearby Marode. A bit of blood at Urin's lip is wiped away as he sneers at the halfling.

"Wot are ye playing at, Orc?! Needed a close-up whiff of me musk, did ya? Put me down so as I can beat you proper!" Ulfang writhes and twists, but most of his energy is spent devising new insults and is again unable to break free of Rogg's grip.

The battle rages on, more blows are landed and dodged, Folco is down on the aft deck, Sared and Ryany are newly swimming.

Act 2 Scene 8

The now unimpeded group of Kraken members rush aft to find new blood and run into Rogg using Ulfang as a club. Vonn tries to grab hold and help toss Ulfang over, but is unable to get a grip as Rogg smashes Ulfang into Urin once more. Both Ulfang and Urin exclaim in pain as they tumble together when Rogg loses his grip on UIfang. Vonn acted first, but missed. Rogg successfully used Ulfang as a club again, but after he did so, Ulfang slipped the grapple and is now loose on the ground with Urin.

Evan and Marode both descend on the pile and rain blow upon the duo of Ulfang and Urin. Only Marode lands a solid blow, this time to Urin.

The triumph of tossing someone in the water is intoxicating to Lugg as he goes in search of more rocks people to skip in the water. He reaches Telchar and Bertham just as Bertham is lifting Folco up and towards the rail. Lugg lashes out at both and while Telchar narrowly avoids the attempt, Bertham is weighed down by Folco and gets clocked upside the head. Folco falls to the deck. Telchar retaliates but is unable to land a solid blow on the big man.

A splash nearby indicates another pirate has taken a bath, and if anyone looks over it appears Ewin is the latest victim.

Rogg does his best version of a flying elbow drop onto the squirming heap of Urin and Ulfang. He probably doesn't achieve much: [1d20] = 10 unarmed attack.

Act 2 Scene 9

The largest melee on the boats continues its lopsided battle. Vonn snatches Ulfang's arms and restrains him just in time for Rogg to tap his elbow twice and drop it on Ulfang's chest. You can hear and smell the air leaving Ulfang's lungs as he gasps in pain. Intertwined in the battle, Evan and Marode gang up on Urin. Both men strike true but while Urin looks like he is about to drop at any moment, the dwarf is able to regain his feet and land a blow on Marode.

Further aft, Lug is fighting two half-sized foes whose punches are skirting dangerously close to precious territory but never landing. The big man isn't interested in foreplay from gnomes or dwarves and clips Bertham on the ear in response. He looks over to see Fastholm and Arran race to his aid. The fight is quickly turning in Lug's favor.

More movement from the other boat as it looks like Tarielye and Tane have the situation well in hand.

As he fights two people half his size, Lug realizes the danger in fighting people whose natural punching range is just below his waist. He tries again to knock his diminutive opponents' heads together.

Act 2 Scene 10

Vonn, Rogg, and Ulfang struggle in a mass of flailing limbs and bodies. Together, Vonn and Rogg manage to subdue the ornery and foul-smelling Ulfang, managing to race him to the rail and over for a much-needed bath.

Despite taking care to shift and turn to the side during his fight, Lug still manages to box Bertham but the slippery dwarven thief Telchar evades his meaty fists. Arran and Fastholm descend upon the fight, bringing allies to the large Lug, and both grab Telchar, holding the unfortunate thief stationary.

Evan is slow to respond to the turn of events unfolding in front of him. He blinks and sees a triumphant Marode standing over the bruised, battered, and unconscious body of Urin in front of him.

Another splash over on The Kraken indicates that the fight is all but over, as only Bertham stands free on one side. He looks around at the situation and smiles at Lug. "No hard feelings, eh? Try to miss the others in the water, would ya?"

With only two enemies standing, with one held and the other admitting defeat, this fight is over. Post last remarks and quips and we'll move to the post-mortem.

Of course, a friendly punch from Lug could knock most livestock over...
