Storm waves at the others. We are off to see the Sage, but no parsley or thyme. It’s a chap that really needs some cash or something. The priests of Tyr are going to look into things magically. Where are you going?

Ruthgar:

Sister Hildr, Sarin, we received warm but mixed interest concerning our mission from the temple of Tyr. A high priest indicated that our best course of action would be to employ a sage name Gustaf. We are on our way there now. How did your conference with the temple of Odin go?

"The same as you, exactly. They sent use to Gustaf with a letter of introduction, he apparently is a member of the congregation. Maybe having us all there will help."

Following the direction you come to a store front. Carved on the door frame you see the northern runes for Earth, Wind, Fire, Water

If it appears to be an open store front he enters, otherwise he will knock on the door.

opening the door a bell rings.

You enter what looks to have once been a library. It is dusty and filled with row upon row of filled book shelves. there is a counter in the middle of the room.

After a minute a door at the back of the room opens and a older man with long hair and beard wearing simple clothes and an eye patch walks out.

Hello there, can I help you.

Ruthgar:

With a slight bow: Hello, I am Ruthgar Cass, Curate of Tyr, after consulting the local temples of Tye and Odin, the clergy from both have sent us to you. He will wait for Hildr to produce the letter of introduction she received.

We have reason to believe there is an extreme manifestation of evil to the south of Starlorn. Ruthgar recounts their story. Highlighting the origin of the stones, loss of the stone at the Rongo temple and the clues that have pointed them to some nefarious activity related to the merging of the stones south of Starlorn.

We are trying to find where the merging of the stones might be happening, so we can bring the act to a stop. Can you assist us in pinpointing where we might look?

After you complete your story the man sits.

Finally after all of the years the tie has come.

he looks around

but this is not right......

10 there should be 10 of you....

he stands and starts to pace getting agitated

If the number isn't right then there is no chance. We count the passing of time in multiples of 10, we break down a whole by tenths.

10 is the sum of the first 3 prime numbers and the first four positive integers. NO it MUST be 10 or there is no need to bother trying.

Balasar begins counting in his head how many are in the group currently and says "There are ten of us just not everyone came with us here."

Sarin counting on his fingers as he thinks of names of who is in the group nods his head agreeing "Yeah he's right there are ten just not sure where Saxony, Allen, Felix or Xanthe went off to."

Ruthgar:

Ja, Balasar and Sarin are correct, our party is made up of ten. We split up when we came to town to request assistance from various temples, they stayed at the temple of Poseidon but rest assured we will be reunited later today.

his face and body visibly relax when you assure him of the number.

You should not split up, it is to dangerous, all of you will be needed.

Gather the others and tonight after the sun sets come back. All of you.

Ruthgar:

Of course, we will return after sunset. With a slight bow he will take his leave and exit the shop.

Outside, to his comrades: Strange, but promising, like he was expecting us... let's hit the Inn, grab and early dinner with our compatriots and come back?

Storm hands Balasar the scroll of Enlarge. This may help in the coming fight. Given we both know the spell, we can use it straight from the parchment.

Felix

Hello everyone. Grab a drink and have a seat and I will tell you what i have found. I have been searching the library for any information that was to be had on Pazuzu. I found 3 references to him in 3 different tomes there isn't much but here it it.

He pulls out a scroll and starts to read:

Tome 1

Pazuzu, or Pazzuzeus, is unlike all other lords of the Abyssal Planes in that he rules the skies above all of the layers, at least to some extent. He differs in several other ways as well. Pazuzu does not compete for rulership on any plane or in any place, for he considers himself above competition. Instead, he treats all those with power on the lower planes equally (if not actually regarding them as equals). Pazuzu can travel freely in the whole of the Lower Outer Planes and is known to be on amicable terms with mighty daemons and the dukes of Hell

Tome 2

Pazuzu can appear as nearly any creature, although he generally takes the form of either a human or some creature of the air. In his true form he appears as a tall humanoid with 4 wings. Although he is handsome, his features betray a great evil, and his eyes glow red. Pazuzu has a noble brow and large head, a solid, muscular body, and taloned, avian feet.

Tome 3

The main efforts of Pazuzu are devoted to the Prime Material Plane. There he uses his powers to gain followers and servants. lt is said that Pazuzu has a great sense of humor, and at times he has not taken umbrage at a check or defeat dealt to him, particularly if the opponents were clever and intelligent and managed to outwit him.

That is all that I could find in the library and it was huge. If any of you wish to look more I have a silver token to allow access for the next week. I know this is all very general information but that is all that was there. I fear it still leaves us at square one.
