This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Due to IRL commitments a player is stepping aside, so I have an opening in this game.

The current crew are about to finish the raid they are on and move to another venue where a new character can join. Preferably a pilot.

I can stick in a new incarnation of Arnwulf.

I think a more martial enterprise with less politics and science could be more his niche.

I can roll up a new character following your char-gen rules and run it by you later.

Do you still have an opening? Long time player & GM of lots of games, but haven’t played Travellers since 1980s. Can be very flexible in PC that might be needed in rounding out the party.

Yes, it is me and my character Arnwulf.

Unfortunately, a lot of my work is in a prison which due to some issues, mostly prisoner conflict and inmates running amok, it has taken up a lot of my free time and I already struggle to really invest in my characters in any of the games I play.

I am going to transfer my character sheet over, so that a new player of Traveller has a ready made character if you don't fancy rolling up a newbie.

The game itself: Oghma is well described and the players do invest a lot of time and narrative into each character. It is building up to a raid encounter so someone stepping in can join in the action fairly quickly. If you want to play as Vikings in Space then this is for you.

My apologise for withdrawing, I hope the game continues and you have fun.

I'm sorry to lose Bluetongue/Greg, especially to such challenging IRL issues. I hope things get under control soon. You'll be welcome back any time.

The generous offer of taking over Arnwulf is a good way for a new player to step into the crew, but we are also at a point where an entirely new character could be easily introduced before the next "action scene".

We're still recruiting.

There is an existing character to take over, but the game is also at a point where a new character could easily join the ship.
