Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
I spoke for the Protection from Undead scroll and a Potion of Extra Healing. But that can be changed if anyone objects.
All things are possible through Magic.
Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
well as the only cleric I should have the cleric scrolls.
others mentioned I should have the ring but will take whatever the group decides.

Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
I have been waiting to see if onlyme made a cleric. If not then I feel Wolfpack's cleric should get the ring. If so it should be one of them. The healing should go to the 3 with the lowest HPs, with the understanding they get used by whoever needs them when the time comes. The 2 potions of restoration should be with 2 additional individuals with the same caveat, to be used by whoever needs them. The silver arrows should go with Monty or maybe onlyme's PC depending on what it is. The cleric scrolls belong with a cleric, the protection scroll with someone who can read (I can't). The other stuff I have no real input with since its really just that we need someone to carry them until needed.

If it holds then I amend my post above as follows. Ring to Wolfpack and the silver arrows either split between onlyme's PC and Monty or if onlyme is better with a bow then all to the elf fighter. If the elf fighter doesn't use a bow (which seems unlikely) then all to Monty.

Ferris can read. He will take the Protection from Undead scroll.

Let's wait and see first if onlyme pc is using a bow. if he is then I have no problem letting his pc have the arrows.Rex wrote:If it holds then I amend my post above as follows. Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
Total Payout for mission 1 Fighter's Academy is 12,000 gp you are paid half up front as Ferris asked for.
6,000 gp split or pooled however the group wishes.
Split 7 ways this is 857.1428571428571 gp rounded would be simply 857 gp each. In whatever form works best be it gems or coins.
Split 8 ways to save some into a group pool is 750 gp each again combination of gems or coins as the group wishes.

Yagul wants his share (he is fine with either method) in gems.

Ferris
Actually I asked for 5% payable up front (600gp), which in character I posted as spending on securing supplies for the journey (I have an inventory list in my personal forum but it includes tents, mosquito netting, extra provisions, lanterns and oils, large saddle chests to haul stuff, ropes and hardware, travois stretchers to bear the Jameson body, etc).
The rest of the money I kept in reserve to pay for stuff on the way that we might need, hostels, road tolls, bribes, hiring mercs', etc.
Not sure the Mayor is going to furnish mounts, barges, magic items and 6,000gp 'in the hope' we return ...

Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
That is fine the Mayor didn't feel like 5% was worth it so he paid half as incentive. I never said the mayor actually paid for those things shops logged it into books as a "tab" there is no telling who will pay the tab if you return it might well be asked of you to pay.Bluetongue wrote:Ferris

Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
Since onlyme dropped out of the game the split would change and I may have to revise how much was given. That's a lot of weight to carry around.
6,000 split 6 ways is 1000 gp each. Unless you go with a group pool option.

Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
I am good with that, not sure why anyone would want coin unless they plan on spending it before we leave. Is there somewhere we can purchase lesser magic items/potions? If so Yagul would spend his 6000 on those things.

Maybe some basic healing potions but that'd be about it.

I'll take mine in Pearls. 100 gp value each x 10.
Never been a fan of the Group pool option. Always one who considers the group his or hers.

Yagul will go and buy all the available potions, just let me know how many of what and how much it costs (up to a max of 6000 gp).

Re: The Hoard! - The treasure, Magic stuff & XP
Honestly not even sure the GP value of magic items since everything in the DMG is XP value not GP value. If it is like conversions of gp to XP it'd be like 1 to 1 ratio I think. (I'll double check my DMG when I get home.) If that is correct a regular healing potion is like 100 GP roughly (based on memory/guessing)
