She will continue running with the girl to near Kade and Ruskin (having seen them fighting the camp goers). Nis will try to put herself and the girl where Kade or Ruskin is between them and Esdra. (Preferrably where the grey robes doesn't have line-of-sight to the girl) Weaving her hands and calling upon the ancient power of her patron she will illuminate Esdra with a fey purplish glow (along with any other foes in range.)

Wilwarin, despite the impulse to engage Zedamande, remains fixated on the grey-robed man, outraged that he would strike a child, in the back, as she fled! She is determined to put him down before dealing with personal matters.

Zedamande merely laughs at Mave's retort, "You best fly away hawk before I clip your wings." And as if to punctuate that remark, he punctures Mave's arm with his short sword. He then calls out, "Esdra, Scaithe, Ilsa, Swifthollow, time to meet the scrivener!" Vari attempts to hit Zed but he merely bats her attack away.

Thena and Bryne both again attack Miss Plate, a good team together, Thena distracts her with an attack that misses but Bryne sees her opening and slashes the woman another deep cut, though she hardly seems to have noticed as she focuses her attack on Bryne returning damage to the noble ranger. The darkhaired man called Jiv again just barely misses his attack on Bryne. The other darkhaired man rises from the mud retrieving his weapon.

Torvik's attack on the man wielding the spiked hammer misses but Kade and Ruskin too attempt to disrupt the man's chant, Kade missing and Ruskin slipping in the mud, falling and hitting a rock neath the sodden ground, injuring himself. The man's chant completes and pulling a small rod of iron from his belt that he points at Torvik. Please save vs. spell at -2 penalty.

Niserie and the girl reach Kade and Ruskin just as Ruskin falls. Both are now out of direct sight of the grey-robed man. Esdra has stopped at Zed's words. She now turns and runs in the direction of the collapsed tent.

Wilwarin strikes out at the grey-robed man who is barely nicked. He grins behind the skin mask, revealing rotting yellow teeth and sticks the bone against her, saying "Fleinn!" Where the bone touches she feels a shooting pain.

From the collapsed tent, you hear a ripping sound and the dwarf and his blonde buddy Mek both pop up through the hole.

Mave reeling from the attack thrust Talon forward at the arrogant elf, perhaps a bit weakly.

Torvik is about to attack the man wielding the spiked hammer when he feels his body stiffen and freeze in place. The man grins his long scar twisting as he does so. Kade presses his attack impervious to what has happened to his commander delivering a staggering blow to the man with the hammer. He doesn't hesitate and turns to flee from Kade. The darkhaired man who had been fighting beside remains and engages Kade though is unable to get through his defenses.

Thena moves in attempting to once again draw Miss Plate's attack and Bryne again sees an opening and delivers a deep cut to the woman's side who snarls at Jiv, "Focus on her," indicating Bryne as he misses her attack against the ranger. Jiv tries his hand but totally misses Bryne barreling past her and falling face first into the mud as well as injuring himself with his own sword.

Nis looses both arrows aiming for differing targets. The first missile strikes the grey-robed man who yells in surprise as Wilwarin delivers a rattling blow to the man. The bone drops from his hand as he tries to steady himself against the tent for a moment and then drops to the ground unmoving. The second arrow misses Esdra and you see her leap upon one of the horses and grab the reins of another. She spurs the horse she rides and the one she holds behind the tent and lets loose of the reins of the second horse not far from where Zed battles Vari and Mave. Then she whips the horse at full gallop northward. The girl after hearing Nis speak says, "Nicnevin..." before a litany of other words Nis doesn't understand spills out at breakneck pace from her lips.

The dwarf and his friend Mek ignore the fleeing Esdra and both start in Wilwarin's direction.

Zed turns to flee for the horse Esdra left nearby and both Vari and Mave attack however only the ranger hits the elf before he is upon his mount and leaning low on the horse is riding northward in Esdra's wake.

Niserie tugs her ear, indicating to the girl she doesn't understand most of what she is saying, but gives her a comforting smile. Seeing the grey-robes go down and Esdra fleeing, Nis re-prioritizes her targets. She fires twice at the dwarf seeking to re-engage with her fellow elf.

Wilwarin’s grim satisfaction in the defeat of grey-robe is dispelled by Zedamande’s flight.

Calling out an uncharacteristically emotional Bring him down!, she moves to follow him, raising Nacquessë to cast Magic Missile at the elf’s horse, hoping to slow or disrupt the escape.

Bryne will attack Miss Plate if she survives Thena's blow. If she doesn't she attacks Jiv.

Thinks for a moment of switching to her short bow, but at the pace the elf was riding she didn't think she'd have time and still have him in range so she takes a moment to check on Vari before turning back towards the camp eager to help the others against those still battling.

[Revenant]

The man with the spiked hammer doesn't hesitate, leaping up on a horse and using the still standing tent as partial cover rides off in the northeastern direction.

Tempus must be truly guiding Thena hand as she delivers a pulverizing slash with her sword nearly cutting Miss Plate in half. Without a word the woman drops back into the mud. Jiv seeing this as he wipes mud from his eyes and Bryne's sword coming down at him, covers his head and holds up his empty hands as he shouts, "I'm done. I give up!"

The dwarf and Mek rushes forward as Nis fires her bow at the dwarf, who looks down in surprise as two arrows suddenly appear in his chest. His eyes roll up in his head and he falls backward dead in mid-stride. Mek keeps moving forward and strikes out at Wilwarin as she points her weapon sending the Magic Missile to Zed's horse, which doesn't stop even when hit. Esdra and Zed are now out of sight. Even distracted the elf manages to evade the blonde man's attack.

Mave moves in to flank the man facing Wilwarin, as Vari switches back over to her bow and nocks an arrow.

The remaining dark-haired man knowing he now faces two foes alone and seeing his companion surrender, does the same dropping his weapon and holding up his hands.

As the rain begins to let up, the only foe still fighting is the blond man Mek who's eyes grow large as he sees how many he faces. He nervously still grips his sword tightly.
