Re: Kicking off
Is anyone waiting on me relating the gentleman with the container?
I think things are close to securing passengers and filling the cargo hold, and then it will be time for departure...

Re: Kicking off
Yes, Vee is escorting the gentleman to Ana so she can interview him. Also, Vee had been looking around the terminal to find passengers before she went to seek out this man at the bar.ffilz wrote:Is anyone waiting on me relating the gentleman with the container?

Ah yes, there will be no real issue filling your cabins (and the modules) with passengers. I think I was holding off on more specific details until confirmation of the refugee modules plan was complete.joertexas wrote:Yes, Vee is escorting the gentleman to Ana so she can interview him. Re: Kicking off
Was there an area in the terminal where prospective passengers had gathered?ffilz wrote:Ah yes, there will be no real issue filling your cabins (and the modules) with passengers. I think I was holding off on more specific details until confirmation of the refugee modules plan was complete.

Re: Kicking off
Prospective passengers are camped out in almost any available space in the terminal. Vee figures it would be easy to find family groups for the colony effort.joertexas wrote:Was there an area in the terminal where prospective passengers had gathered?ffilz wrote:Ah yes, there will be no real issue filling your cabins (and the modules) with passengers. Re: Kicking off
Vee spent about twenty minutes walking around in the terminal, specifically looking for families and young couples who wanted to leave. Did she see anyone who fit that bill?ffilz wrote:Prospective passengers are camped out in almost any available space in the terminal. Yes, more than enough to fill your available slots. Did you want to interview folks or just do first come first serve?joertexas wrote:Vee spent about twenty minutes walking around in the terminal, specifically looking for families and young couples who wanted to leave. Vee comms Ana when she reaches the ship's landing pad. "I'm here at the vehicle entrance to the pad. Where are you?"ffilz wrote:Not quite sure what your action is here...

Waiting for the guy to show up, it’s not so much an action as a wait for him.ffilz wrote:Not quite sure what your action is here...Ramona wrote: What Vee said...

Oh, sorry, I had indicated he would come to the ship with Vee, he is here now...Ramona wrote:Waiting for the guy to show up, it’s not so much an action as a wait for him.ffilz wrote:Not quite sure what your action is here...Ramona wrote: What Vee said...

Vee sees Ana, and changes course to meet her. "This is the man I told you about," she says without preamble.ffilz wrote:Oh, sorry, I had indicated he would come to the ship with Vee, he is here now...

Re: Kicking off
Wen returns from the bank, having set up accounts and gotten debit cards (or whatever is used out here so we can access our account on multiple systems), and sees Vee escorting a man onto the ship.
Wen hurries to the ship and walks into the lounge shortly after Vee and her guy do.

Ana comes down the side of the western berm and looks the man over carefully, her featureless googles, black resperator, scarf and carefully sanitized military uniform create an imposing presence.joertexas wrote:Vee sees Ana, and changes course to meet her. “So, you want us to move a box, who or what’s in it?” She asks bluntly
Re: Kicking off
The man looks Ana over and decides she looks trustworthy. "It's loaded with geological surveying and sampling equipment my friend had intended to bring to Forgbound to establish a mining claim. Unfortunately he got caught in a bombed building. My intention had been to run a marketing office here, but that seems a lost cause now, so I hope to take the equipment to Fogbound and stake the claim myself. Unfortunately, the container is registered to him and I don't have the proper paper work and getting it under the current circumstances is impossible."Ramona wrote:Ana comes down the side of the western berm and looks the man over carefully, her featureless googles, black resperator, scarf and carefully sanitized military uniform create an imposing presence.joertexas wrote:Vee sees Ana, and changes course to meet her. Re: Kicking off
Vee focuses her attention on the man. "What's so important about this stuff that you'd risk your life for it? And, why should anyone else risk their lives for it? This is a war zone, if you haven't noticed. Seems to me, you'd be ready to leave with just the shirt on your back."Ramona wrote:“So what you’re saying is you want us to steal it.” Ana looks at Wen and Vee. “Where is it?”
