Clark takes a look around at the vehicles present. He also looks for an office area where the keys may be stored.

Zinn takes everything he's acquired and bolts for the vehicle bay, hands naturally itching to get behind the controls of some sleek, powerful Imp ship and use it to destroy everything they have been working on here...

"Are we done? Or are we going to have more fun?" Zuul asks while reloading before the next group comes.

Zuul will wait until everyone is in cover before leaving the hall. He will, however, grab a bit of cover wherever he can.

Imperial Security Beureau Intel Analysis and Technical Branch Station; Planet Lotide; Mid-Rim (i.e. 'The Colonies')

Zuul starts to break open his double-barreled launcher when a pair of Security guards rounds the corner and start to raise their blaster pistols. He cuts loose with his second loaded barrel instead and the flechette shell explodes and dozens of razor-sharp darts shred the pair of guards in an instant, turning them into pulped bodies on the ground lying in slowly-expanding pools of blood. The Barabel has little time to gloat though as a second later, 3 more guards round the corner and open fire on him with one blaster bolt glancing off his shoulder, another zipping centimeters past his head to terminate in a small smoking divot in the wall behind him and the last lancing into his thigh and causing the big reptilian alien to hiss in pain* as he back through the doorway and breaks open his weapon to begin to reload it....

In the vehicle bay, Professor Clark immediately takes notice of a trio of techs in oil-stained jumpsuits flinching back against the far wall with their hands raised and in half-crouching positions. None of them are carrying any weapons and the academician turns to note that the massive bay holds several vehicles in various states of repair; with a quartet of Speeder Bikes parked neatly in a row along the nearer side wall and a landspeeder with two seats up front and a clearly-added-on-after rear turn-table deck with locking foot clamps and a 'seat-belt' along with a Heavy Repeat Blaster on a standing pivot-position turret...

Gavin Storm quickly notices that sealed blast-doors have been closed over the entrance/exit opening and with a curse, he lets everyone know this fact. With a calming motion, the lightsaber carrying Bothan La'Reth quickly strides over and utilizes his weapon to cut open a large section in through the blast-door and a long minute later, the garage is bathed in sunlight and the breeze, along with the not-particularly-pleasant aroma of the nearby swamps assaults the Rebel party. Gavin takes up a position at the doorway as the injured Barabel starts to re-load his launcher while hissing in pain and the former-smuggler fires a couple of shots down the hall, not to actually try and hit the Imperials, but mostly just to keep them ducking for a moment...

Jackson quickly moves towards the Repulsorcraft and determines that the 4 Speeder Bikes and the Blaster-equipped Landspeeder are all in good working order and he calls out to let everyone know this fact. Zinn is right there with the mechanic and he confirms the good working conditions of all vehicles as well....

*Zuul is wounded...he will be at -1D for all future actions

Everyone: Speeder Bikes have room for 1 driver/pilot and can carry one passenger. This model is also equipped with a forward firing Light Repeat Blaster and a comms system. The Landspeeder has room for 1 Driver, 1 Passenger and 1 Gunner manning the Heavy Repeat Blaster which can turn 360 degrees and elevate up to about 75 degrees.

Jackson smiles at the discovery of the working vehicles. "Gentlemen, our rides have arrived. I suggest we not waste any time getting out of here but we shouldn't leave anything for the imps to follow us with."

If the vehicles need any kind of 'key' to start, Clark will attempt to intimidate the techs into either giving them to us or at least revealing their location.

(We can't all just load onto the Landspeeder, we'll need at least one Speeder Bike).

"Good idea, Jackson. But how fast can these things go? That Heavy Blaster could come in handy, but not at the expense of speed at the moment." Clark asks.

Gavin continues to lay down a cover fire or rather trying to keep the imperials busy and distracted. Long enough for the others to accomplish what they can. When given the ok Gavin will bolt to whatever escape ship his friends are able to "acquire".

Zuul curses in his native language, unintelligible to most around. He seems more angry at himself than the imperials.
When reloaded, he will lean around cover and shoot at the group of guards down the hall.

"So. Ever have deja vu? He thinkss thiss happened before. Other leg last time, though."

Yelling across to others: "Give sign, and he comess running."

Imperial Security Beureau Intel Analysis and Technical Branch Station; Planet Lotide; Mid-Rim (i.e. 'The Colonies')

Zuul reloads both barrels of his flechette launcher as Gavin continues to lay down some covering fire. The former smuggler yanks his head back as a bolt whizzes past and misses him by centimeters and he grimly reports that the Security troops are increasing in number and quick action is needed....

Professor Clark intimidates the Imperial techs and one responds in a terrified squeaky voice that no input code is needed, just pressing the repulsorlift engine ignition button will work at the moment for all of the Speeder Bikes and the Landspeeder. Clark informs Jackson and Zinn of this fact with a smile...

Jackson is the best speeder driver of the group and doing some quick thinking, he quickly comes to the conclusion that 3 Rebels should get in the landspeeder; two on one Speeder Bike and one on another leaves two Speeder Bikes to disable. He quickly scoots under the Bikes and uses his little Hold-out Blaster to blast the main power cable leading from the engine to the front repulsor on both bikes. It was an easy thing to fix; but it would take some time; enough for them to get-away with any luck...

Zinn, seeing Jackson going to work, realizes that Crodowski, then himself, then Storm were the best drivers and Clark was a decent gunner. He calls out to the group; "Okay everybody; Jackson will take a Speeder Bike with La'Reth sitting behind him; Gavin will drive the Landspeeder with Zuul in the passenger seat and Clark on the Heavy Blaster and I'll take another Speeder Bike. Let's MOVE!"

At the doorway, Gavin hears the 'assignments' and with a shrug he fires one last shot around the corner and he races to the Landspeeder as Zuul leans around the corner and cuts loose with one last shell from his launcher. He doesn't have time to see the results though as he notices a spherical object bouncing his way and he quickly dives away from the door-opening as the deafening sound of a grenade explosion echoes through the room. Luckily for the Rebels, the grenade was badly tossed and did NOT enter the room. The big Barabel picked himself up and limped his way over to the landspeeder, plopping down into the passenger seat as the tall academic human Clark climbed onto the Blaster Turret above and behind him and the little human smuggler Gavin slid into the driver's seat....

Professor Clark, his ears ringing from the grenade blast, quickly and adroitly climbed onto the back deck of the modified landspeeder and quickly strapped himself to the pivot pole mounting the Heavy Repeat Blaster was on and he swung it towards the doorway as he powered the weapon's generator on. With a decidedly non-professorial smile and roar, he opened up with the weapon, sending a devastating hail of large, powerful blaster bolts into the doorway to suppress any Imperials looking to charge into the room and keep them from escaping...

Gavin Storm slid into the driver's seat of the Landspeeder and he quickly pressed the ignition button to fire up the repulsors and felt the vehicle shake a bit as the heavy Barabel Zuul lurched into the passenger seat and the tall, strapping Professor Clark climbed onto the rear gun-deck mount. Glancing over and back, he saw his fellow Alliance team-mates were strapped in and he gunned the engine and raced out of the facility and into the massive swamp the Imperial outpost resided in. Racing for the powered fence, he called back to Clark; "Professor; shoot out the transformer box....right there!"; he points out the 2 meter square housing on the inside of the fence....

Jackson Crodowski calls out to the Bothan; "Over here, La'Reth!" as he hops onto one of the Speeder Bikes and presses the ignition button, hearing the reassuring sound of the repulsors firing up. He feels the furry Bothan climb aboard and wrap his arms around his middle as he yells out "HANG ON!"; and he guns the engine, the bike taking off like a shot and leaping out into the swamp outside the base, racing for the powered fence that surrounds the installation. He quickly notes that each 10 meter section of the fence is powered by a boxy transformer and he quickly aims for one of them, lining it up to blast away at with the mounted Light Repeat Blaster on the bottom of his Speeder Bike when out of the corner of his eye, he notes the sight of a pair of Speeder Bikes with Imperial Security guards driving racing towards him from the right...

Zinn Valimar quickly finds a carry-all pack with a strap that he puts QT-7 into and he secures it onto his back as he climbs aboard the last functioning Speeder Bike and presses the ignition button. Racing out of the garage in the wake of Jackson and Gavin; he also sees the pair of Imperial speeder bikes angling towards the escaping Rebels and he turns to engage this new threat....

Zinn angles his speeder bike around to engage the oncoming biker scouts. He shouts over his comlink, "I'm swinging around to take on a pair of pursuing scouts on bikes; I could use a hand here!"

When he lines up a shot on one of the bikes, he takes it.

Gavin just continues to try and fend off the enemies in the area as he and his friends try to leave the planet.

With the wind whipping around them, Jackson shouts back to La'Reth "Bogies incoming. Hold on, if we don't take them out our run for safety will be cut awful short."

Jackson angles the bike towards the incoming bikes and fires the blaster.

Zuul leans back, crosses his hands behind his head and relaxes for a bit.

"Let him know we get there."

If an enemy speeder gets within jumping range, Zuul will stir.

Imperial Security Beureau Intel Analysis and Technical Branch Station; Planet Lotide; Mid-Rim (i.e. 'The Colonies')

The band of Rebel agents having achieved their mission of obtaining the necessary Intel concerning the Imperial replenishment fleet; now race thru the swamps surrounding the Imperial ISB base on the Planet Lotide; pursued by Imperial troops on Speeder Bikes....

Professor Clark opens up on the transformer box powering the Fence surrounding the ISB station that Gavin Storm is pointing at and he lets out a yell of triumph as the bolts from his weapon slam into his target and blow it apart. Suddenly a 10 meter section of the fence, lit by a blue-white glow from its Force-field goes dim and Gavin Storm yells out to his fellow speeder-crew members Zuul and Clark to "HOLD ON!" as he guns the vehicle's accelerator and points it directly at the section of fence in question. The humans wince and hold on tight as the Barabel grins a wide, toothy smile as the repulsorcraft slams into and thru the fence; tearing through and into the massive swamps that surround the area for as far as the eye can see...

Jackson Crodowski turns towards the pair of Imperial Speeder Bikes and he opens up on one with the mounted Light Repeat Blaster that lies under his seat. He lets out a chuckle of triumph as the blaster bolts bi-sect one of the Imperial bikes and the bike falls into the swamp in two pieces with its driver being hurtled through the air to land with a gloopy splash in the muck. Crodowski though DOES have to yell out to his Bothan passenger to ease up a bit on his grip as he's having trouble breathing due to the Jedi's arms squeezing his middle so tightly....

The second Imperial Speeder Bike follows along in the wake of the Land-speeder occupied by Gavin, Clark and Zuul and it rockets up and through the smashed section of un-powered fence the Rebels created and fires a burst of Blaster bolts from its Light Repeat Blaster that narrowly miss the repulsorcraft, but get the attention of the good Professor and the Barabel passenger. Clark turns the Heavy Repeat Blaster back towards the Imperial as Zuul silently debates the wisdom of leaning out and over the side of the landspeeder to open fire with his Flechette launcher while moving at high speed...

Zinn watches as Jackson cuts the opposition down by half and he starts to line up on the remaining Speeder Bike, when he sees it 'leap' up and thru the smashed section of fence that Gavin had created with the landspeeder and the Rebel pilot followed the maneuver adroitly with his own Speeder Bike, but then cursed as he attempted to blast the Imperial only to have his shots sail wide. Glancing over his shoulder, he sees Crodowski and La'Reth join the rest of them in the swamps outside the Imperial Base's fence-line perimeter and he turns back to focus on bringing down the last obstacle on their way to freedom....

Zuul turns, judges the distance, and calls out to the Professor:

"You seem to have thiss well in hand. Let him know if you want help."

He then turns back to enjoying the ride.

Clark fires at the pursuing Speeder Bike (providing that his allies' Bikes are not in the line of fire in case the shot misses).
