Eventually, sure.

As I type this, though, I have zero clue what I'm going to run for this game, so not much detail or information I can share. If you're at that stage, and want to jut create your own backgrounds, feel free.

I do like characters to have backgrounds. I don't require them, but I do find that players become more invested in their characters when they've put some thought into them instead of simply letting the dice dictate. That said, backgrounds don't really have much to do with the game once it starts. I might be able to work in an element from a background on occasion, but that's never guaranteed.

Per a request, I've added a 'first-aid' kit to the list of standard equipment. You can find details about it here: Cleric (and First-Aid). I have also reduced the cost of a healing potion from 50 gold pieces to 25 gold pieces.

Monday may have been a bit too optimistic for a game launch, as I'm still working on what to run.

There are still several of you still have quite a bit of work to do on your characters, and I'm hoping to have all the players ready to go as soon as possible. It hopefully won't take me too long (likely only a couple days) to complete my basic prep work, and I'd like to be able to jump right in once I finish. In order to do that, all the players will need to be ready as well.

A few of you have already chimed in with your willingness to be ready to roll. How about the rest of you? Everyone still on board?

I'm ready to roll and I consider my character ready.

I am closer to knowing what I'm going to do with this game. Also, I am still looking for confirmation from a few players:

Confirmed
GreyWolfVT
Zhym
Alethan
ToniXX

Unconfirmed
OGRE MAGE
rredmond

Finally, I want to point out a couple revisions to the house rules:

I could easily set next Monday as the start date so you won't be inconvenienced, and to also give everyone (myself included) ample opportunity to prepare.

How does a week from today -- Monday, June 8, 2015 -- sound?

Next Monday sounds good to me as a start date. If you can put the public character sheet template up tonight or tomorrow, I'll post the sheet for my character; otherwise it'll probably go up next Monday.

This wasn't as important than some of my other tasks, but it shouldn't be too difficult to come up with the template, so it's possible I'll have it ready by tomorrow.

I'll post it as soon as it's done.

No hurry. It's not like the game can't go forward if my public sheet isn't up.

Wait, what?

I create not one, but two characters and then ask you which one fits the party better, and I get put on the "unconfirmed " list?

Or is it because I made up two characters that I'm considered unconfirmed?

Or...... are you not responding to my private threads again?

Ha! Okay, you're confirmed. I was strictly basing my list off of those that replied to this message with confirmation.

As for your two characters, I'll let you make that decision. I will try to work on the public character sheet template today, so people can begin filling them out. Actually, maybe they are something I will create and maintain, since it will be just pruning information from the private sheets? Regardless, once they're up, and you see the rest of the party composition, you can go ahead and decide which you think will be best.
