Re: OOC CHAT
Another thought when posting. Under your character name, possibly put your location. Outside diner, restroom, ,etc, etc. We are going to try to keep this a bit abstract. We probably wont have maps detailing everyones exact position all the time.

Re: OOC CHAT
What?
No way am I putting a location in every time I post. That's ridiculous!
I am taking the two guys I just brought in and we're leaving this game!
Don't you know I'm a famous couch potato?
Sorry.......I'll let that go now.

Be nice!
I just want to make sure we can keep track of where everyone is & what they are saying.
If someone splits up or we have two(or more groups) I will make extra separate threads. Only look at the thread you are involved in. That way, its kind of like real life. You wont know what the other group is doing.

Yay! The other half of my team has a player again. Welcome, Norjax!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Re: OOC CHAT
Im going to try to play NPC as they would act in real life. (as best I can anyway) If you would go to a diner and ask to mop the floor or climb on the roof- they would think you are crazy. Most "normal" people wont face an emergency until it is really staring them in the face.
Its hard, but try not to act on info your character doesn't have. If you have a question- ask. We can make a perception check, etc.
Its all in fun. We can wing it if we need to.
Let the game continue.....

Re: OOC CHAT
Makes sense. I figured that people might be doing some abnormal things...especially if they saw weapons being retrieved. I'll admit my attempt at getting a mop was ham handed.
One suggestion: can we spoiler info that not everyone has? Helps keep track of what is public knowledge and what isn't.

Re: OOC CHAT
Ok, good idea. This game is a kind of "work in progress" . Feel free to make suggestions. Spolier is a good idea. But I don't want to use that for everything. There will be conversations between players/npcs- if you aren't nearby- you have to try & act like you didn't hear it. Otherwise too many PMs will get hard to track. That's why I ask for name/job & current location at the top of the posts. It helps me track 6 players and several NPCs. If you are in the bathroom, then you cant hear a conversation outside, etc.AleBelly wrote:Makes sense. We just do the best we can & try to have fun. Its just a game. Thanks.
