Hildr
Hildr explains the Wand to Storm.
Turning back to Gustaf,"Is there anything else you have for us? Advice perhaps? We will be leaving soon, quite literally with the fate of everything at stake."

Re: Sage Advice
He pulls a silver flask from his pocket and takes a swig, then sets it beside his club and pushes them to the center of the table.
He seems to have visibly aged in the last several minutes.
This is óvinr hamarr The Foe Hammer, may it serve you well.
He then stands and takes off his robe revealing his scared, tattooed chest.
I have no more knowledge to give, but one last request. Now that my duty is done and the eye has been passed the centuries will quickly catch up with me.
If I wither and die my soul will be sent to Nilfheim.
He pulls out a dagger with a handle made of gold and carved in the shape of a raven, he stabs it into the table.
Which warrior among you wishes to send me to Valhalla.

Storm passes the wand over happily.
Now that’s more like it. he says, impressed at the priestess’s knowledge.

Re: Sage Advice
Storm waits until the cleric is finished. He taps her on the shoulder. Errr I don’t mean to be rude, but I figured all that out already pretty much. Do you have any sense of how full the wand is?? Even an inkling? Quarter full? Barely any power left? Quite full? Sorry to be a bother. he says sheepishly.Rex wrote:Hildr

He will happily pick up the weapon and stab the sage through the chest, precisely and cleanly.

Re: Sage Advice
Ruthgar:
Knew this was coming, the loss of the eye would bring about his death. He picks up the dagger and approaches Gustav without malice or hate and takes his life.
Rest old friend.... he murmurs as he cradles him for a moment.
Ruthgar takes the cudgel and slings it in his pack: Let's take a look at this away from here...
Places the dagger back on the table.
Perhaps, we should make it back to the inn....
OCC: The focus should not be the magic items, lets keep an eye on the end game of the story line.

Re: Sage Advice
Sarin makes to move to the dagger in the table but stops being beaten to it by Ruthgar. "Rest easy first Warden. Welcome to Valhalla." he says as a farewell to the old sage. "Yes lets return to the inn."
Balasar amazed by what Hildr did with the wand and the new eye walks over to her and whispers something to her. unsure how you want to pass this along DM please advise.

As everyone moves for the dagger Gustaf snatches it up and walks into open space in the room.

Sarin "Odin has seen me through some dark times First Warden, I will fight you if you so wish to go out fighting. I would be honored to hold up your wishes. So long as they do not upset Odin."

Sarin draws his long sword. "Very well." he takes up a fencing stance.

Re: Sage Advice
Phil takes his time and lines up a solid strike at the Warden's chest. Due to the Warden's movement, it goes wide of the heart and grazes the ribs.
init [1d10] = 8 Spear to hit [1d20+3] = 15+3 = 18 M damage [1d6+5] = 3+5 = 8

Re: Sage Advice
You both land blows and a smile spread across Gustafs face.
Well done to you both, but it will take far more than that.
You wield the weapon of a warden. The new bearer can use the eye to tell you for whom it was made and all of it's potential.
he lunges at phil but you block it with your shield

Startled, Phil casts poorly.

Re: Sage Advice
As both warriors relax and takes lazy stabs Gustaf parries both aside with his dagger
a serious look crosses his face
Do not treat me as some common brigand with your effort, I am still the first warden.
he then buries his dagger in Phils shoulder (8)
