Hearing fighting continue from the left tunnel, Gwillt quickly assesses the situation. He looks down the dark tunnel to the right, then glances down at the trogs at his feet. "These other smelly lizards came from the other end of the left tunnel, if I heard that warning correctly..."

Seeing no way to advance to the fighting via the left tunnel, it looks like the right tunnel is the only way.

"Shanny, we can't get to the torches, so I need your eyes. Guide me up the right tunnel; it obviously connects with the left somewhere up ahead..."

(Unless, of course, it is easy for someone to pass a light source over, then Gwillt will take the light source and move up the right tunnel. Shanny is, of course, welcome to join him.)

Strom is breathing heavy as the trog lay in front of him dead. He kneels down to the floor and uses his ability to Lay Hands on young Darrin, hoping that it is not too little too late.

Hey hey - can't Kaltar act after Strom has killed the trog as per my previous post? Or are rounds irrelevant now combat down this end has finished?
Kaltar moves to bandage O'rek unless he can't reach him before Epsilon, in which case he will CLW Ewell.

You're right, especially considering Kaltar would act after Strom. My bad.

However, just to avoid having to make players (e.g. Epsilon) go in and change their action for the next round, let's just apply your fallback request, below, to the end of this current round and Epsilon will still carry out his declared action next round.
saalaria wrote:Kaltar moves to bandage O'rek unless he can't reach him before Epsilon, in which case he will CLW Ewell.
If you could just make the necessary roll (remember, if your roll is less than 4, 4 is the minimum and will be the final result of your spell).

Kaltar kneels by the stricken knight, closes his eyes and intones a prayer whilst laying his hands upon the most grevious wound.
The healing energy flows into the warrior:

Cure Light Wounds [1d8] = 5

Fimmion will just.... stand there. Yeah, stand there and hold the light up for everyone. (I'm starting to think that Fimmion may be having second thoughts about this whole adventuring deal. His amount of help thus far, is just proving that line of thinking...)

To the North
Grimnail, liking the previous feinting success tries again and slips in the gory mess at his feet, driving his blade into the cave floor. The dark steel bends momentarily under the strain but does not break. Thankfully for the barbarian, his reflexes prove to be too great and the last apparent swamp beast strikes out but misses badly.

In the Middle
Fimmion will take a few cautious steps north, providing some extra light for the half-orc, realizing the barbarian is capable of continuing just fine without it.

Now free of threat, Kaltar kneels at the side of Ewell, the stricken knight, closes his eyes and intones a prayer whilst laying his hands upon the most grevious wound (+5).

Strom is breathing heavy as the trog lay in front of him dead. He kneels down to the floor and uses his ability to Lay Hands on young Darrin (+4), hoping that it is not too little too late, and is relieved when a faint pulse is felt.

Epsilon moves to bandage O'rek who, despite bleeding for several minutes, appears to stablize.

To the South
Hearing fighting continue from the left tunnel, Gwillt quickly assesses the situation. He looks down the dark tunnel to the right, then glances down at the trogs at his feet. "These other smelly lizards came from the other end of the left tunnel, if I heard that warning correctly..." Seeing no way to advance to the fighting via the left tunnel, it looks like the right tunnel is the only way. "Shanny, we can't get to the torches, so I need your eyes. Guide me up the right tunnel; it obviously connects with the left somewhere up ahead..."

The hobbit quickly follows the ranger's voice and the pair disappear around the southern point and into the right branch of the 'Y' intersection.

I forgot to mention this in the round 19 update, but this spell brings Ewell up to -1 hit points. While he cannot really *do* anything short of the least strenuous activities, he is at least functional

Ewell opens his eyes and looks around.

Oh wow, did I really get them all before passing out? About that, umm Sorry, I need more iron or something. He looks over at Grim still fighting...

Oh, there is one more. Where is my sword and well.... He can have that one.

edit to clean up phone typing and add bit more mindless narrative.

To the North
Grimnail, tired of dealing with the last troglodyte remaining, executes a perfect slashing attack (+20xp - you're welcome) and drops the foe, seemingly ending the immediate threat.

In the Middle
Kaltar moves to heal O'rek and, with a divine prayer, restores his fellow cleric to consciousness (O'rek is restored to zero hit points. He will be conscious, but basically useless until he's returned to positive hit points).

Ewell opens his eyes and looks around. "Oh wow, did I really get them all before passing out?" the obviously delusional cavalier wonders aloud.

Strom is relieved that everyone downed by the trogs appear to be stable, with all but the young Darrin conscious. "We are in no state for another encounter." he says to the group. "We should take the wounded back to town and hope we do not see another group."

To the South
Epsilon will light a torch his lantern and move to follow Gwillt in case he and Shannigans need help.
