OOC: Sorry amigo; just getting back from a trip!


Lipput; snarling about botching an attack so badly; swings his longsword at the nearest giant fly; putting some extra oomph into the swing in an attempt to redeem himself....

Attack Roll +2 for STR 17 and Longsword +1: [1d20+2] = 5+2 = 7

(Ouch....Die roller doesn't like me in the is fight; sorry fellas!)

In the vain hope that that is a hit: Damage roll: 1d8+2: [1d8+2] = 5+2 = 7

Day 2, Turn 6 - The Grand Pipe/The Giant Flies


Round 2

Party Initiative: [1d6] = 6, Monster Initiative: [1d6] = 1

Segments: Party 1st, Flies 6th


The brothers act fast. While Pol holds back trusting the power of his protective spell, Ull stabs the giant insect he had hurt previously and it falls to the floor of the pipe buzzing in misery. Not wanting to be upscaled, Theket moves to engage the other fly buzzing around his brother Ull and with a slice of his sword open the back of the things and cuts a wing to shreds. The fly joins its companion expiring on the floor. Lipput doesn't fare so well and is incapable of getting a blow on the fly he's fighting. Onn and his fly keep doing a ballet-like fight but neither insect nor half-orc wounds their adversary.

The giant fly attacking Lipput manages to sink its proboscis in a chink of his armor and starts using its acid to disolve the not-so-tender orcish flesh beneath so it may be turned into a liquid pulp it can snort. The acid does its job and a a plume of of smoke carrying a sickly sweet/burning smell wafts from Lipput. he can't avoid a yelp as he looses 8 HP.

Perhaps attracted by the scent, the fly that was hovering impatiently in front Pol and prevented from attacking him due magicks, bolts flying and launching its proboscis greedily at Lipput too. The thing misses him by just a handspan.

Theket the Fly Slayer

Theket slices again at the nearest fly.

Theket's Scimitar, +1 (THAC0 16): to hit [1d20+1] = 11+1 = 12; damage [1d8+4] = 2+4 = 6

Ull will come to his brother's rescue as well, attempting a half hearted stab at the fly attacking lippet.

Pol eyes Lipput critically, to see if he's hurt bad enough to waste a spell on. While his brother seems to have taken a nasty bite, one that looks to have hurt like hell, he seems not too bad off. Pol decides instead on words of encouragement. C'mon ya pansy!! It's a fly!! Swat it or something!

Roaring in pain, anger, and frustration; Lipput slashes out at the Giant insect that bit him with his longsword while snarling at his brother; "SHADDUP AND DO SUMPIN' USEFUL!"
