Aha, HH! It's been bugging me. I thought Prerna went a bit quiet when Frank started talking about Colonel's from the unit. Also reluctant to move investigation on

If I wanted Frank to have a private discussion with Jess, how would you have me go about that, just send PMs when we hit a suitable point in the narrative, or would you want me to post something in the main thread?

A PM is probably the way forward and copy me in so I can keep track of things.
If you think it is possible other PCs could notice then mention it in context in the main thread. Maybe something like "Frank finishes a conversation with Jess as the team enters / speaks to Jess at the bar ... " or allude to it in some other way - maybe finish a comm call before speaking to someone else.
The comm is the "everyone can always speak to everyone else" game device so a person to person call is maybe the obvious mechanic if you want to be subtle / avoid too much "cloak and dagger"?

I've been thinking about the Piracy and have some concerns about Frank and Prerna being recognised by any military escort The Purge might place, although I guess it's a small chance.
What are the high-tech options for non-permanent plastic surgery, or at least changing your appearance enough to make a difference?

There are options: holo projection, variations on the "rubber mask" etc.
However, if the guards are with the loot in the hold you won't need to either fool them or pass scrutiny until it's all too late (for them or you!) The chance of them recognising either of you should be slim.
On a basic level you could easily change hair and eye colour cosmetically.

That's an interesting idea, I shall have to ponder on it.
The unit was huge, not everyone is going to know what happened to Frank. Hmmmm...we could waylay the real Purge operative and Frank could take his place, or something else.

What's Keven's problem, going off in a huff like that?
There is going to be a discussion, because when Frank gave him his vote for operational commander he didn't sign away his say in what jobs we might be doing. Otherwise he'd just sign back up into the military or join another merc group. The last few years he's gotten use to deciding what he wants to do. This could be an issue and I'm interested to see what the others say. it's not going to be a fun game if Keven is the only one deciding what jobs we are doing and I don't see how he can think it's going to work like that like.
It seems quite clear that he wants to put together a unit and he wants to be the commanding officer and make all the decisions on what we do. Hell no.

Try a Carousing: 0 skill check and be guided by the result. You can modify it by your Int bonus for "being careful/good intentions" if you like.
However, the results are "capped". Worst case result is you (probably) have a bad hangover rather than waking up in jumpspace as the new ship's mascot on a vargr trader ...
