The grey staticy film shows three thugs trying to break into your warehouse/private labratory. They must have been attracted by the lights that came on inside. The back entrance in question opens up into a discreet alleyway, the door connected to a disused break room fire exit.

Actions and rolls everyone!

Yay, my turn to roll bad in combat
(now I feel like one of the guys).

Cowboy is excited.
It has been a long time since he engaged in actual physical combat.
These three seemed relatively low level threats, prefect to see if Cowboy still had the right stuff.

Cowboy sneaks into position, carefully draws a ceramic combat knife from his boot.
He slowly unlocks the door and prepares to swiftly pull open the door and stab the man with a gun in the throat.
As he turns the knob ... bang, the thug throws open the door knocking Cowboy on his ass and causing the knife attack to wildly miss.

Cowboy leaps to his feet and attempts to evade their melee attacks.

I have a bad habit of losing track of time when not on the forums, sorry guys

Hot Streak speeds towards a location behind the flying super and opens fire with a fireblast. The shimmering blue aura drops and the super is stunned by this to say the least. "What the?! They know to use fire? Quick, help me out here!" Vorpal, rushes towards the stunned hero, but misses with his wild swing, his anger getting the better of him.

The landscape around you all starts to change, vehicles and debris changing locations before your eyes, the super in the air no longer where he used to be.

What will you do?

-----

The three thugs that are breaking into Cowboy's warehouse are actually surprise to see such a small little runt in front of them. They laugh and pull out their crowbar and bat, swinging away at him. Cowboy, knocked to the floor previously, rolls around and dodges the blows. A bullet from the third thug's handgun manages to knick Cowboy in the arm, dealing 10 points of damage. He leaps to his feet, the pain pumping him with adrenaline.

The thugs with melee weapons look angry enough, having missed you twice, and the third is shoving the two away trying to get another shot in.

Actions?

Genocide will speed off after having killed all of the remaining mutants/thugs, attempting another cloak.

Chameleon 20: [1d100] = 43

Failing he will try to do so while in cover until he can manage whatever mental block has restricted his genetic ability...

Chameleon 20: [1d100] = 77 Halleluha!

Once he can successfully cloak he will skirt around the edges, searching for whoever the super was talking to.

Cowboy [HP 90/100] draws a second knife and takes advantage of his positioning from the previous evades to simultaneously press his attack [+1 step] against the Bat wielding Thug (60 = Blue = 15 damage & concuss) and slash at the face of the gunman pressing forward (71 = Blue = 15 damage & concuss [Brawn rank=10]), while continuing to acrobatically evade the melee attacks of the Crowbar (65 = Blue = evade; +1 step) and the Bat (25 = Red = Evade).

[OOC: Just for the record, I acknowledge that these sort of combination attacks require Cowboy to succeed at every roll or risk miscalculating and failing at the entire combination.
At this point, it is a calculated risk.]

Hot Streak looks for the nearest cape "A teleporter." he explains to Vorpal as he super speeds around looking for the nearest cape to burn.

Vorpal frustrated even further nods looking around for the nearest thing to attack.

If you are going to search the area please roll based off of your awareness rank value. Note that there is no need to add your stat to your result, the stat just determines whether your result was successfull or not.

-----

Cowboy will be using his melee stat, +5 for single hand dagger use, to deal a total of 55 damage to an enemy per hit. Brawn, your score of 10, is only used if you do not have any weapons on hand for melee purposes.

Also, you only need to roll init once for each combat round, so we will go with your score of 64. Both your d100 scores of 60 and 71 were blue successes; so not only did you hit your targets, you managed to concuss the bat wielding man for [1d10] = 10 turns, and the gunman for [1d10] = 3 turns. The evades you stringed in were successfull, one of them barely making it, so you recieve no damage this round and only have to contend with one thug with a crowbar.

Atpollard weaves through the wild crowbar swinging and slashes with great presicion, using his dagger to cut deeply into the thugs arm. He collapses to the ground and starts to bleed profusely, a main artery having been cut. Three thugs now lay before his feet, out cold or outright dead, perhaps both. No other signs of danger are present as he checks around the breakroom and the outside alley.

-----

Laughing Genocide successfully pulls off a chameleon cloak within the chaos of the gang war, a major feat considering all that is going on around him. Now being out of sight and immediate danger, the psychotic villian scopes out the area and tries to find the hero's companion. The task proves difficult though as the environment around him constantly changes and shifts ever so subtley (a trashcan moves to a new location, a pile of burning cars stops burning and then flames back up again, signs and posters changing between pictures and written phrases).

Vorpal tries to pinpoint the heroes, anyone one of them, but cannot seem to get past the illusionary effects taking place around him. Hot Streak, however, quickly formulates a pattern amongst the chaos that is taking place, or at least he think he has. Certain areas do not seem to change and remain static. The building to the left slightly collapsed, the flipped over ice cream van, himself, all unaffected as far as he can tell.

What do you do?

Hot Streak thinking he's figured out something informs Vorpal to head towards the areas that are not changing constantly like the ice cream truck or the partially fallen building.

Vorpal listens to Hot Streaks wisdom and moves off towards the partially fallen building and looks around for capes to attack.

In his cloaked state, Laughing Genocide enters and investigates the slanted building. There are fires flickering all round and parts of the flooring and ceilings are in a state of collapse, but even amidst this destruction, LG's animal like instincts pinpoints a prick of fear in the air. From where you enter, a long hallway full of gaping holes stretches before you, all on fire and smoke heavy in the air. Your character's eyes slightly water. In order to navigate the burning building, you will need to make a minor success in both Coordination and Constitution (dealing with not breathing in too much smoke and avoiding falling in gaping holes in the ground). All the doors to your left and right are closed, but the one door at the very end of the hall is slightly ajar.

Hot Streak figures out what is going on using logic, at the same time that LG did using a form of predator's instinct. He relays his ideas to Vorpal and with silent agreement, split up to investigate the areas in question. Vorpal heads to the partially collapsed building that is now at a slant, the only one in the immediate area not being affected by ocular illusions. Hot Streak keeps an eye on the over turned ice cream truck. Vorpal will spend this turn making his way into the building, being able to act in the action round after this one.

Meanwhile, the illusionary state of the battlefield intensifies the fighting taking place throughout the few blocks entangled. Gangs rip each other apart, and now even their allies due to the hallucinatory changes taking place. The heroes on the scene have taken some casualties, but appear to be at a stand still with some of their combatants, neither giving any ground. The two supers that the villianous trio are engaging with have yet to be found.

Hot Streak if he discovers nothing on the other side of the ice cream truck will head to the slanted building attempting to super speed his way there even though injured a bit. The injury appears to be drastically altering his super speed abilities.
Super Speed attempt [1d100] = 23

Vorpal still continues to the slanted building on the look out for a surprise attack from anywhere.

Hot Streaks injury prevents him from running at his fastest, slowing his movement to a basic run. He will reach the building on the next turn, Vorpal, however, has arrived. He finds LG on the other side of a large hallway, having successfully navigated a fiery path full of gaping holes and heavy smoke. LG, having made his way to the door, peeks inside and notices a young woman hunched over a laptop with surveillance equipment scattered about. What would have been an easy target for sneak attack, is hampered by a luminescent barrier surrounding her and the laptop. Without opening the door, you can only see this much from you vantage point.

Genocide decides to cloak once again, Chameleon 20: [1d100] = 23, the smoke obviously hindering his ability. He decides to act anyway and kick the door in with a large maniacal smile as he surveys the room.

Vorpal attempts a leaping attack over the debris in the way. On the being in the chair. Init [1d100] = 37

Vorpal attempts his sword arm strike doing a leap over the fiery holes. He finds that this feat of strength was better played out in his mind then in actual practice. The hall is long and he only jumped over one of the fiery holes, catching a burn along the way as a painful reminder of what he is dealing with. 5 damage to one of Vorpal's legs. (four more large holes to go if you continue this approach)

Hot Streak arrives at the building and finds Vorpal playing hopscotch in a burning hallway. A door is flung open at the other side, with a flickering LG present. You can hear is laughter over the sound of the flames, signaling to Vorpal and Hot Streak that he found something to play with.

LG looks inside the room and immediately finds the source of the barrier protecting the individual at the laptop. A large tesla coil tower sits in the corner of the room with wires running from its bottom over to many of the laptop's ports. The tower pulsates with blue light and static electricity, as a bolt of said energy lunges forth and crackles through LG's body. The stun does not stop the madman, however, as he flies towards it in a series of kicks and punches. The attack knocks some of the coils lose and the barrier around the person flickers, but it does not cut off the power. The person inside the barrier is now aware of your presence and rapidly starts to type into the laptop, a few data upload screens appear on the monitor as the numbers displayed starts to rise to 100 quickly.

What do you do?

Right now I have Cowboy just outside his warehouse/laboratory. He has taken care of the thugs that were trying to break in and finished uploading the weapon schematics to the web for The Eye to use. Genocide attempts to destroy the creation and get to the maker...

Fast Attack 30, Melee 40, Damage 130: Initiative: [1d100+10] = 44+10 = 54, To-Hit: [1d100] = 90, [1d100] = 100, [1d100] = 3

That last roll was pathetic... but if he destroys the thing and still has an attack or two left over then he will go after the person and use the remaining attack against her.

Vorpal decides enough is enough and tries to slice a new opening in the wall.

Hot Streak looks for an alternate door to enter the space with the person that tesla'd LG.
