Re: The Singularity (OOC)
I had a class in BASIC in high school. I made a gladiator duel simulation based on the Tunnels & Trolls rules. It wasn't much fun. The computer would do the combat so fast that the action was over in an instant. Then all you could do was read a paragraph of text about the hits and damage.

Re: The Singularity (OOC)
I know I never got any programming certifications but I have been trainined in the basics of Visual Basic, HTML & CSS between college and the Technical school I went too my Sr. year in HS.

Re: The Singularity (OOC)
Just letting you know that this is the first week of school as well as the first week of my Internship for my Masters (Should finally graduate in December!) My workload is unbelievable at the moment, and I am going to need to take about a week off to get things sorted.

Good luck!
Re: The Singularity (OOC)
My professor claims that if we can make it through the next 2 weeks, we have it made in this internship... So I will still be slow posting until at least that time. Thanks for being patient.

Hope all is going well with the internship!
Re: The Singularity (OOC)
And............. I just turned it all in... Good lord I hope that professor is right and that is as hard as it gets. My mind feels like mush.
I am actually taking tomorrow off work just to catch up on work. Maybe I will be able to get my brain working again and make a post tomorrow.
Thanks for being patient with me!

Re: The Singularity (OOC)
Brett, you can relate to your character finally! That brain worm probably makes Ranger-1's brain feel like mush regularly.
Good luck, and take a break rest that brain.

Re: The Singularity (OOC)
Congratulations Bluehorse.
In the recently concluded “Beta Model” adventure,
the Valedusian Derg arc was taken from the short story “Protection” by Robert Sheckley, adapted for radio on X Minus One, Oct. 3, 1956, which you can listen to free here: https://www.radioechoes.com/?page=play_ ... 10.16%20MB
It was interesting to compare Mason’s reactions to the story protagonist. The end of the story didn’t translate into a game version.
The planet arc was inspired by a Robert Sheckley short story called “The Odor of Thought,” in the collection The People Trap.
Real life and work factors necessitate a reduction in about 3/4 of my gaming , hence a winding down of adventures.

Re: The Singularity (OOC)
I have a picture in my head of you being a werewolf going “back into the woods” for lycanthropic yearly rituals under a full moon. Good luck on the kills.
Re: The Singularity (OOC)
Thanks. If I were a werewolf I would probably be more successful, LOL.
