If you have enough to give out I'll take one.

Healing

Urlando

Psychic Healing: [2d6+3]=9+3=12

Podo:

Psychic Healing: [2d6+3]=7+3=10

Anton:

Psychic Healing: [2d6+3]=10+3=13

Max (2nd application)

Psychic Healing: [2d6+3]=8+3=11

We've had some very lucky rolls. That leaves us with 2 healings for the rest of the day

About time, right!

I'll write up a post to move the game forward.

Urlando squeaks in thanks to Silverstri and follows the others to investigate the stones.

Fortress Exterior 347D/81 (Dawn)

In the shadow of the mysterious edifice, you make your way to the group of stones where the humanoids engaged in their nocturnal activities. Ever alert for roving bands of Sentivoc and Herdivoc smart metal entities, you take turns providing security cover for one another.

The collection of two dozen 6ftx3ftx4ft gray stone blocks appear arranged in uneven rows with a wide path running a curved length. Upon cautiously negotiating the avenue, you notice a gray dust scattered over the sandy ground between the heavily weathered stone objects.

Podo

Thinking the strange grey dust is odd, Podo gathers a small pile of it and places it in one of his sacks then heads over to the nearest block to investigate it a little closer.

Is the grey dust odd? I assume it doesn't look the same as the rest of the landscape around u, perhaps coming from the grey objects themselves. Is there any sounds coming from the blocks? Do they feel warm or cold? Any obvious openings or access panels?

Denslow probes the dust with a root to see if he can draw any sustenance from it.

Max approaches the nearest block and examines it without touching it. Do we still feel the same energy that we felt closer to the tower structure?

Urlando will also examine one of the blocks, standing close by, but without touching it. Are these containers for the deceased?, he wonders.

Fortress Exterior 347D/81 (Dawn)

Upon closer examination, Podo and Denslow determine that the gray dust is organic ash; a rich nutrient suitable for plant sustenance. The ambient energy field you experienced when first approaching the structure has not been present since you exited the fortress last night. The surrounding environment is relatively silent, save an occasional breeze. Is this coincidental to the unintentional sabotage in the circular panel chamber?

The cold stone blocks are heavily worn and battered. Their somewhat haphazard placement into the ground would indicate the current locations are more recent than the weathering patterns on the stones would indicate. There are shallow pits and grooves on the sides that almost look like they may have been parts of an inscription at one time. No obvious seams exclude the probability of panels or access openings.

Saiph wanders up to the closest structure and has a closer look, checking that they are definitely set on the ground and not in a plinth or something else. If he can he will use a dagger to dig some of the earth away from where it meets the ground.

Anton’s tapping of the lithic object indicates it is a solid mass.

Denslow pushes against one but lacks the strength to move or tip it.

Max tries to discern any specificities about the nature of the shallow surface incisions.

Make an INT skill check vs. DC 18.

Saiph uses his dagger and removes sand from around an object’s base. His investigation reveals that the monolithic stone is not supported by any type of hidden foundation. After a few inches of depth, its bottom edge is exposed.

Kurot finds his consciousness waking as if from a suspend cycle. Odd, he didn't recall entering a suspend cycle, but there it was. He reviews internal logs for recent activities. Nothing much that's interesting, he notes, but at least that means nothing embarrassing, either. Just some self-repairs, then following the others around in their investigations. Maybe it was the repairs that knocked his self-awareness offline for an extended downtime. Maybe he'll have that looked at later.

Repair (two days - 346 evening & 347 morning):
Self-repair: [1d5]=2 hp, [1d3]=2 turns
Repair Cost: [2d7]=8
Self-repair: [1d5]=4 hp, [1d3]=1 turns
Repair cost: [4d7]=20

Podo

Finishing filling his small sack with the grey powder, Podo gingerly touches the tip of his finger to his pitted tongue in an tentative effort to gauge the powders properties.

" The red robes came out from the tower right over there, maybe if they return tonight we could set some type of trap for them outside the exit or here at these blocks. Waylay them in return for their actions against your companions Urlando. They carried some kind of long tube when they exited and when they got to this spot the held it amongst themselves and faced the tower. If we can get it perhaps that will hurt the tower."

INT check [1d20+1]=3+1=4

Max feels what he thinks is writing but cannot make a single thing out. He steps back and shakes his head.
