Korin "Aye that'd be me brave dwarf, in most cases. Names Korin McGruffin you can just call me Korin. These are tow of me friends Norbold and Ox well Ox is what we call him his names a bit more to it but he doesn't mind bein' called Ox. We took on a deed of goin' to a goblin kings hold and tryin' to save a princess or so some drunkards told us, turns out we did rescue two folks neither of em were of royalty but a good deed we did perform and crashed the damn hole in on the goblin king Wob we did on our exit. I'm sure some of them goblins survived and dug out but they're thinkin' twice before kidnappin' folk from here. This man taken by what sounds to be as you said lizardmen is a terrible deal and we do intend to go off to save the poor man, being that you are a warrior of honor by the looks of ya might I invite you to join us in this good deed?" the dwarf motions to Darren for another round of drinks.

Melkior stands up and give Korin, Norbold an Ox a bow each.
"I accept wholeheartedly! You honor me by taking me into your company, good adventurers!"
He sits down, smiling happily.
"Goblins are as bad as lizardmen, hateful small creatures that prey on the weak given any opportunity. You did a good deed destroying that goblin kings lair and I'm sure Göz finds you all pleasing to behold!"

- everyone at the nearest tables chime in:"Yay!! Our Heroes! Smashed old Wob! Hoooray!" and toast the trio - again to Korin's irritation. All while the minstrel continues:

From beneath the table's edge, something emerges. Two hands holding up an old pub menu, with something scribbled on the back.
It's eager Timmy, who's managed to sneak back inside again.

"Look! It's the church man, look! I drawed it meself! I can take you there to show you! You can kill the giants, mr. knight, for real!! I got a horse, too! Promise!"

Norbold says, "Hmmm, alright, alright, Timmy, what say you, Mr. Knight ? Shall we all go have a look see up around Minn's Bend, this fine day, and see for ourselves what is transpiring up there ?"

Korin the dwarf gets a confused look and scratches his beard then starts talking to Timmy "Yeah but I know where Minn's Bend is. It's a place where the river Mush makes a sharp turn. But where the devil is this Minn's Mound yer talkin about Timmy? Also the darned river's been dry for a while, some of yer story don't have ground to stand on Timmy."

Melkior is distracted by the song, trying to remember something he thinks he forgot. He remembers something else.
"Hmm, I recall a wizard by the name Minn, nothing more than an old legend. But if I recall correctly, he was said to be not only mighty in the arts of the magi, but also benevolent and kindly, helping those in need with his powers. But he must be long dead, so the snatched monk can't be him, surely?"
He turns to Norbold.
"Yes, master Elf, I agree, we should inspect Minn's bend, and quickly so. Could you lead us to the exact spot, young Timmy?"

Ox- Finishes his mead. Smiles from to era to ear.Anotter advantore! Lest be off. Diz Jacob Hizzcupzzs!! leave us any ting good in his bag? Hizzcupzzs!! We must grab our gear.

Everyone has by now probably sensed that Timmy is too young to lead a group of adventurers into dangerous lands; but most other seasoned Slowcrofters will know the way.

Before setting off, everyone needs to buy new rations: all rations that Korin, Ox and Norbold kept from the last adventure are now past their sell-by-date and have gone rancid.
You may stock up at the store in Slowcroft (see 'Maps'). Armour, weapons, dungeoneering equipment etc is 10% off the prices from the PHB lists. Korin, Ox and Norbold still have their same old horses.

Korin "Timmy at the least could yah draw us a rough map of what yer callin Minn's Mound? I know most of that area but never heard of nothin called Minn's Mound. Other than that yeah i forgot Jacob had a scroll we might take and put ta use from his pack before I return the pack to his home. I gotta get some rations anyway before we start runnin off on another adventure."

Suddenly seeing the landlord Darren approaching, Timmy rushes out again, and drops the pub menu.
Picking it up, Darren points to Timmy's drawing and says laconically to Korin: "Eh, looks like that's all you're gonna get."

"But surely you know Mush Bend, dontcha ? Another name, but the same place! As Minn's Bend. Halfway up the ol' river. But whodaheck Minn was, I dunno....".

The minstreless continues warbling in the background about how some gallant hero named Melcure, though mortally wounded, cut down the bandit leader.

Korin shrugs "Oh well to the bend we go story still don't make much sense. But we'll figure out this Minn ordeal Darren."

Ox- I will also need to get some rations. Korin is there anything else of use in Jacobs bag?

Did we receive anything from pair we rescued?

Melkior asks:
"Would any of you gentlemen be so kind to loan me for the provisions? An hungry horseman is worse than none at all as they say." He smiles apologetically.
