I see the names just fine, Greg.ToniXX wrote:To those who have done this:ToniXX wrote:Glad I could help, GreyWolfVT
I've added a profile field for your real name. If you leave it blank, it won't show anything, so you don't have to use it. But if you put something there, it will show it under 'location' on all of your posts. See mine to the left:
<---
To change this:
- go to the User Control Panel (upper right of most any page)
- Click 'profile' along the left.
- Look at the last entry field on that page.
- Put your name there if you want. Or put 'Turd Ferguson'.
Are you seeing your name (and the names of others) in their posts? Most users in this thread have done it, but one user isn't seeing the names. Thanks for the input.
Dave: I can't control the position of the field. I agree with you, though!

I tested it out but I did not see my own name and I am not seeing anyone else's either.
Re: User Nickname or Display Name Option
I see everyone's but yours, FWIW.

I had the same issue but after about an hour or two for some odd reason I see em now.

Alright. I'll check it in the morning and see if things have changed.

In that case, it's obviously time to scrap the whole website and start over.ToniXX wrote:Dave: I can't control the position of the field. I agree with you, though!

Thanks for the input. Maybe there's something about clearing your browser cache or similar...

Still not seeing the names but I'm on my phone right now so not sure if that makes a difference. FWIW everything else seems to display fine.

That is strange. The only other thing I did was delete all board cookies for this forum and logout then re-login to the site.
