Too much experimentation might shift the balance towards Chaos, our good mage, replies Shen to Ianin with a nod to Raquinel

But you speak wisdom that this might be a clue to the completion of our quest. I think we should experiment but with caution, in case we arouse more monstrous effects. It would be best to act as one rather than disjointedly as we did upon arrival. Fire is often a force of chaos, perhaps we all approach that pool as one and with great care, finishes the monk with a slight bow.

I feel I would regain the ability to heal once we rest and I do my required prayers. If anyone has thoughts on how do undo "this" magic (grabs his/her breast) it would be most appreciated.

Andover will take a drink from the pink pool.

As the party discusses experimentation with the pools, Andover the ranger braves the pink pool and takes a drink from it.

He feels reinvigorated and his old wounds miraculously heal.

Shen watches the cleric with interest. If this works we should bottle that stuff... he mutters

Idwillen searches his belongings and easily finds an empty wine flask. He scoops a gulp from the pink pool with his hand, then submerges the flask.

Wondering what all the hub-ub is about, Raquinel walks to the pink pool, and mutters Healing properties you say..? Gathering a vial from her bag she fills it with the liquid and takes a large gulp.

Emboldened by Andover’s drinking of the pink liquid, Bjorn the cleric imbibes as well. She experiences a pleasurable tingling as the magic heals her insect bites and magic missile wound completely. Alas, her little staff does not reappear.

Idwellin the druid fills his flask. Raquinel pauses in her spell study and drinks at a side-ways angle, her head being where her right arm should be. She too is healed of her wounds, but her head and right arm remain in their new positions.

Shen and the others watch with interest.

Shen smiles knowing that the pink liquid seems to be helping. Not all of these pools are so evil after all. He moves to the pool (B) with the fizzing liquid with the pleasant odor. He will first look at the effervescent liquid and than try touching and then tasting, as long as he doesn't find something that would stop him...

Poltux, half-orc

Poltux fills his flask with the pink liquid.

Andover moves to investigate the murky gray thick liquid (pool C). Can he see into it? If not, he will poke an arrow into it and swirl it around to see if it bumps into anything or meets any resistance.

"So, Bjorn," asks the ranger with a grin, "Are you going to jump back in the sex change pool to see if it will change you back, or are you starting to like the new you?"

I thought I already tried the sex change pool and it didn't do anything. Am I mistaken?

If so, I missed it. I saw you try the healing pool, but not another dip in the sex change pool.

Heartened by the positive effect of the pink liquid, Shen the monk examines the pool of the clear fizzing liquid with the pleasant odor (B). He cautiously touches it. Piercing pain shoots up his fingers as the liquid is a powerful acid! (2 HP damage)

Andover investigates the gray pool (C). It is a murky gray syrup. It offers no resistance as the ranger swirls it with an arrow. It has no aroma.

Bjorn the cleric tries the pool which changed his sex. She slowly immerses herself but to no effect. Poltux the fighter fills his flask with the pink liquid.

After filling his flask, Poltux scoops some of the pink liquid in his hands from the pool and drinks it.

Ianin empties his wineskin (spilling most of it on the floor after taking a healthy swig and offering some to any nearby), and then fills it with the pink pool liquid.

Andover will try the poke & swirl test with the pool of yellowish liquid (pool G).
