Dmitri reaches into his Mesh Jacket and retrieves his rugged hand computer and begins recording the encounter they’d stumbled upon. With his other hand, he’ll pull out his unextended stun baton.

Mesh Jacket, stun baton, dagger and a ceramic dagger in boots sheath.

Back Alley Brawl


A few of the toughs notice the Travellers who've stumbled onto the scene.

"Lookout lads, bloody newsies, get em!"


4 of the 6 square off and engage the party leaving two harassing the boy.

Neither Party achieves surprise.
Range - Short

Next Poster decides for the party - Fight or Run.

if Run! 9 or better to escape; -1 for short range

If Fight each player will post and include the following:

1- announce their movement status

Evade, no attack but -1 to be hit
Open Range - try to move away
Close Range- move closer
Stand - no movement

Players may run, doubling their movement but may not attack if running.

2. roll to hit (include any bonuses to hit from skill or stats in the macro) - and roll for damage

Fight!!

Months of travel to get to this new-to-him sector, a couple days dealing with Fendon's antics, a week sailing with a jackass crew, now stumbling onto a group of Football Hooligan thugs looking for trouble...and knowing this is a clear cut case of self-defense...all take it's toll on Dmitri. Dmitri’s patience snaps. He extends his stun baton as he lunges straight toward the short man in blue and takes an overhand swing at the leader's upper torso.

Alphonse is wearing his thick jacket (Jack equivalent) and has his short sword concealed under it. Unfortunately this makes it inconvenient for quick deployment so as the he loosens it ready to show the blade.

He draws the taser from his jacket pocket and fires targeting the guy in the pink coat.



Damage as with Fendon in the hotel

The taser drops to the ground as Alphonse adjusts into a defensive stance short sword in hand.

A rifle or SMG would be overkill ion this situation so Rando will elect to dodge and hope for a lucky strike by the others in the group!

And suddenly he recalls why he now uses MGT rules! Breadth of skills!

Back Alley Brawl

Round 1

Once surprise is lost (or never gained) Combat and it's effects are simultaneous between opposing sides

Terry tries diplomacy -
woah woah guys, we don’t want any trouble here!
Movement: Evading

Mr. Red Coat answers Terry's call for reason "Guess you shoulda stayed home today!" and comes in swinging an empty beer bottle like a club which Terry easily ducks.
Movement: Stand (keeps range)
Attacking:
+2 for range short -1 for Terry evading and still misses.

Rando holds back this round and tries to avoid getting clobbered.
Movement: Evading
In CT if you're evading, no attack that round but you are harder to be hit" -1 close or short, -2 medium - 4 long or very long

Mr. Red Shirt, also wielding a brown lager bottle tries to cosh the former soldier and delivers a glancing blow - Rando -3 to END
Movement: Stand (keeps range)
Attack
+2 for range short, -1 for Rando evading and hits

Rando the first blow takes 3 from your endurance. All other damage going forward you may apply as you see fit

Dimitri snaps and wades into the fray baton swinging at the trash talking man in the blue coat and connects with a solid blow.
Movement: Stand (keeps range)
Attack 8+2 for short range Hits! 10 Damage applied to:

Mr. Blue Coat reverse grips his beer and lunges in striking Dimitri but causing no damage. He drops like a (17) stone from the force of Dimitri's rage blow and it's electric aftershock.

+2 for range short Hits but no damage applied, Dimitri all hits to you going forward you may apply as you see fit

Alphonse drawing his taser from his jacket pocket, fires off a snapshot at Mr. Pink. which goes wide and misses!
Movement: Stand (keeps range)
Attack: Base 7 +2 for short range; +1vs Jack Armor (Taser as Autopistol equivalent https://www.unseenservant.us/forum/view ... 28#p604728); Drawing holstered weapon -3; No skill bonus (or penalty) 9 Dex = No Bonus (or penalty) Miss!

Taser is a one shot weapon and must be reloaded after every shot, if not reloaded may be used a club

Mr. Pink swings and glass shatters when the bottle meets Alphonse's forehead knocking him silly - Alphonse takes 7 damage to his endurance and 2 damage to Dex - Unconcious
Movement: Stand (keeps range)
Attack
+2 for range short Hits Hard (ouch)
Damage applied to Endurance


Spillover damage applied to Dex

Mr. Blue Shirt and Mr. Hands both wield bottles against the Native Boy who manages to fend off Mr. hands but gets popped by Mr. Blue Shirt.

+2 short range; -1 boy's staff (cudgel) skill - Hit!
+2 short range; -1 boy's staff (cudgel) skill - Miss!

The Native Boy swings out at Mr. Blue Shirt and he oofs as the staff connects to his midsection but stays standing.

+2 for short range - Hits!

Rando will move to stand over the body of Alphonse and protect it, striking at whoever comes near.

Dmitri sidesteps as he whirls away from the fallen blue shirt and toward Pink Shirt. He’s stepping to create the range of 1 meter (short range) to Pink Shirt.

Now you've done it! ... He says coldly as he swings to clock Pink Shirt in revenge for Alfonse.

Attack (add +2 for short range)

Rando moves in to close range to engage Mr. Pink in fisticuffs and clocks him with a haymaker - Rando Roll 1d6 for damage to Mr. Pink
Movement: Closing Range - now at Close Range to Mr. Pink
Attack: 6 +2 for hands at close range Hit!
Stats: 7C9
Current:7C6
Mr. Red Shirt follows Rando and slashes with his broken bottle which Rando blocks but opens a gash on his forearm - Rando -3 Damage to any one Stat, you choose
Movement: Closing Range - now Close with Rando
Attack:
- Hits!
Dimitri seeing Alphonse fall moves in with Rando to take down Mr. Pink and hits with a vicious bone breaking electric strike to the temple. Lights out for Mr. Pink!

Mr. Pink facing Rando and Dimitri tries to fend off against Dimitri with his broken beer bottle but fails to hit.

Dmitri promptly turns to flank Red Coat from Short Range and attacks him too. If Terry or Rando drops him before his turn this round, then Dmitri will move to attack Mr Hands who is harassing the native boy.

After ducking out of the way of Red Coats bottle, Terry sees no choice but to engage in fisticuffs, he will come up swinging.
