Strategy thread
Re: Strategy thread
Perhaps it has something to do with the certain death quotient. I'd planned on a strong, stupid Dwarf who accidently offends everyone.
Re: Strategy thread
Sounds like we have a rather offensive group of asshats in party 2 lol.

Re: Strategy thread
lol. No worries, whatever you come up with. I've tried, but also have a hard time playing the mean guy. It goes against my own personality so much... The best I've come up with so far is being sneaky.Dogma wrote:Don't mind being pick pockets at all. That was a nicely written post and some excellent RP.
now I just need to come up with a proper response...I suppose i should have him be at least a bit contrite but I've never played a character to be a complete asshole before, and since the life expectancy of these guys is expected to be low you wouldn't have to put up with him for long...
I suppose a little party cohesion would be nice though.
That's something that is an innate part of my personality. Unfortunately, my son has that trait, as well, and I'm already working hard to deal with his sneaky mind at two years old. I'm afraid I'm going to be in "catch up" mode before too long, and then it's all over.

No worries if it closes and we can't get through.

Unless it's magically sealed and protected then you might just be stuck in your own tomb lol

Re: Strategy thread
I think I would have been OK, had I stayed on the other side. I just would have been trapped from the rest of the party. Like I said, I could have gotten out.
Or... maybe.

Re: Strategy thread
Time for the first loot split, for anyone interested...
Elfin Chain +2 armor
Long Sword +1 weapon
boots of levitation
potion of healing, 1 dose
scroll of Conjure Elemental
I'm not interested in any of the incidentals... Would be interested in the above in the following order: boots, chain, scroll, sword, potion
Of course, will take anything that nobody else wants...

Re: Strategy thread
The boots and the potion are intriguing otherwise I could pass on the other gear.

I am interested in the boots of levitation. My second choice would be the elven chain (if it will fit a human).

Old school!Stirling wrote:"This path on the floor hides a message does it not? Perhaps the scholarly amongst us can decipher it and any 'clues' it may hold." McCloud will suggest pointing at the mosiac path, whilst liberating the body of Erodhan of any usefull items.
Suddenly a wry smile crosses McClouds visages and he grins at Quinn...
"Erodhan was a greedy fool going off on his own, what was he thinking? However he can still be of use to us....can I suggest my Unseen servant carries his body down this path, perchance any traps that remain hidden...well his 'keen' eyesight might well spring them for us? Don't get deader than already dead....any objections Erod?"...Erodhan shakes his head in return (with a little help from McClouds hand wiggling his jaw), "fancy being pointman/pointelf for the group now don't you?"...heads nods....

Re: Strategy thread
Old School....?
afraid tis the only skool I went to!
elfin chain+2....thought that elfin chain was never enchanted just better crafted to make it lighter? Can thieves wear it and not be penalised skills wise? Would the +2 ac bonus still work with McClouds +3 Kilt to make +5AC (some things do and don't I found?)
He has spellbooks and components too, that would be a greater party asset to take them. What clerical faith was he? Any help to Razluki?
Looks like he was poisoned so quickly...never had chance to use his healing potion then.
