Hi Tiglath and Gorethirster !!! looking forward to this very much . Im pretty green so go easy i can tell already you both have a good sense of humour which is just what i was hoping for !!!!

i have a feeling grumpy old Ridley ( i will be playing on the grumpy characteristics ) and sarcastic Remington will get on handsomely although i doubt if either would be likely to admit to it .

I'm shot off a post to make Ridley some deliberately awful ramen and hopefully directed myself to meet the captain (who if I'm not crazy is Hardrocks). Hopefully Raven would have been going there anyway since she said she was going to introduce me, and it makes sense for Ridley to be there as well. Then we can all meet up in character before we meet the freshmen raiders (who Remington will absolutely refer to as "undergrads" in the most derisive way possible whenever he can.)

You'd better be careful not to say that where Remington can hear it or he'll really start to hoke it up, wearing mystical charms made out of random bolts and whatknot. The Oghmans might not appreciate his PhD but if he can get them to respect his academic training he'll do whatever shenanigans he has to!

Drive Shaman made me chuckle too. A nice turn of phrase. Could be a decent nickname for Remington, Shortened to DS when he's in earshot of course.

I have my moments - though perhaps few and far between!

I'm quite anxious to ensure the "prisoners with jobs" have ample player agency so the "barbarians" being dependent on them is a great dynamic.

Sorry that response took so long everyone. In a strange example of life imitating art I opened my IRL scalp sunday evening and I've been dealing with that since, so this game sorta fell off my radar for a while. I'm all good, and should be back to posting regularly barring any further head trauma.

Actually I got a little drunk and dove into shallow, rocky water. Quite frankly it's a small miracle I didn't do any real damage, but God protects drunks and fools as my grandmother always said. In this case I was both.

Glad you didn't do worse. We have people jumping off rocks here that do far worse - life changing ( and sometimes ending) injuries.

Thanks, it's pretty annoying. Power connection port failure on the laptop, and the battery ran down before I noticed so I couldn't back up or send myself anything. Hoping it's an easy fix, but getting it to someone who can do that is a problem in itself. One bus a week...

Nowerdays even mundane tasks seem to require Herculean efforts!
