In Game OOC
Re: In Game OOC
Farid seems to me making a good job of it. Louis doesn't have great social skills (something worth fixing down the line, maybe), so it might be best if he let's Farid deal with it and keeps an eye out down the passageway.
Re: In Game OOC
I would think if someone else was to take an action it would be to push one of Farid's aspects so that he succeeds at a higher level. Not sure how that would play out but the only real option I can see for this round.
Re: In Game OOC
I will suggest, out of character, not to worry about it. Do track your Fate Points, etc, as the next big ticket item will be combat.
On a semi-related note, I am about to post for the evening. We're supposed to get storms soon, and I want to get things out before we shut down.
Re: In Game OOC
Good luck with the storms, keep warm and dry!
Re: In Game OOC
Tonight's issue might be tornadoes. Hopefully it will pass by, and even better, not touch down at all.
Re: In Game OOC
Okay, the final battle. There are three leaders, and three PCs. Fancy that! You will be able to move to position and initiate the attack as best you see fit.
For those wondering how the League of Adventurers would view the issue, it's simple. The rightful ruler of the keep has been deposed by bandits, and you are attempting to rescue him. Given the reputations of the Beast, and the others, no one will worry overly much if they don't survive.
How you fight is up to you. The furnishings tend to the Germanic medieval, and are heavier and stronger. Feel free to use whatever you think might be there in your plans and descriptions. There are four horses in the stables, one large, two bandit types, and a wagon puller.
Diego will be able to abscond with the key just before the battle starts.

Re: In Game OOC
Hey guys, do you need anything from me before starting your attack? The room is large, lots of stuff around (describe what you need and how you use it in your post), and you'll find them by surprise.
How you attack is up to you, but you are there. The other guards will be resolved off-screen.

Re: In Game OOC
Sorry Leitz, lost track of needing to post and it has been crazy busy. I will try and get a post up later.
Re: In Game OOC
Sorry too. I've been trying to think up a decent post, but been to busy to put something appropriate together. I will try to get something up later as well.
Re: In Game OOC
I can belay tonight's post until Friday PM local, if that would help?
Re: In Game OOC
That would help me, I just need to remember to post, LOL. Thanks
Re: In Game OOC
Ok, I guess what has been making me hesitate a little to be the first to post is the open-endedness of it.
Just for clarity, are our foes awake when we arrive, or alseep, or drunk, or...whatever we decide they are?

Re: In Game OOC
OK, I just went for it. We can retcon any problems.
Re: In Game OOC
Your post is fine, the issue is on me. I mentally saw them still asleep/semi-drunk, and was giving you the chace to knife them in your sleep or rouse them for battle.
Re: In Game OOC
Well, I thought that was what I was doing by hollering and hitting them with cutlery and comestibles, rousing them but in a dramatic way
Knifing them would not be an honourable method.

Re: In Game OOC
Agreed on the knifing them in their sleep not being honorable as I have A Worthy Foe Should Be Respected aspect.
Re: In Game OOC
Sorry for my late posting, and dim knowledge of the Fate system. Things in RL have made me a little overextended in the games I'm in and GMing. Weekends I have time, though.

Can you roll for Farid's Fight?
