When you have a chance, would you roll for whether the explorer henchman has any higher statistics? Explorer prime requisites are strength and dexterity. His light warhorse also needs a HP roll (2 hit dice).

10% chance of higher Attribute, in order: (1d100=48, 1d100=94, 1d100=56, 1d100=30, 1d100=31, 1d100=55)

Light warhorse: (2d8=8)

Potion to formula: (1d100=3). Animal Control. Huh. That'll be pretty cool.

Okay, getting close to done now.

Animal Control - 4th level effect (charm monster) - cost and time required are half due to formula
2 weeks and 1,000 g.p. spent to make a potion of animal control with success roll of 12+2-1(int)=13+

That leaves one week of workshop time which is not enough to try the clairaudience potion which needs 1.5 weeks.
So instead Tychon will work on a scroll of read languages.
1 week and 500 g.p. spent, success roll of 12+1-1= 12+

g.p. spent: 10,000 (items) + 500 (familiar) + 1,000 (items) + 1,500 (potion & scroll workshop) + 1,400 (gear) = 14,400

He'll buy one potion of healing for 1,000 g.p.
Pay his henchman in advance for two months (100 g.p.)

That leaves him with 500 g.p. and a decision to make about his +1 sword.

He observes every possible superstition he can think of to try and help his success on the potion and scroll!

Final wrap up, then? Added wisdom mod to experience and saves, need to name totem animal. Hmm.

I have plenty of gold, so I'll just throw out for potions.
Creating her first potion takes 1 week and 500gp, with a 13+ on the research throw.
As soon as she succeeds, further potions take 1/2 week, 250gp, and 12.5+ on the throw.

This means I'm 1,500 down period, and get anywhere from 3-5 research throws. Might be easiest to make five rolls, then, and we will just work through them, ignoring any left over if needed aye?

Otherwise, ready to sail, cap'n!

I just want to apologize for disappearing. Work has been brutal and I have not been doing much beyond work. I have not been able to get my hat acted created. I will step out of the way if you have other people interested in playing.
