Balasar after everyone has taken a look at the map that wishes too will attempt a manner of rolling it up or folding it up to put in his pack. "Won't we look odd carrying a corpse into town? Even the jouney on the road would get folk giving us strange looks I'm sure."

Before he leaves Storm will try and cut out the shadow demons brain and tasks some of the skin from the wererats for ingredients in future magical concoctions. He will wrap them up in the cloaks or robes of the fallen cultists, and suggest covering the dead body with one of the fallen’s cloaks as well.

Phil suggests we camp near the entrance again (room 7 or near there) and then head back to the City in the morning. and he was totally serious when he asked if we need the whole body or just the head.

It's basically a day's march back to the city, correct?

Balasar "I'm no cleric but if they don't need the whole body and one of us has a sack we could place the head in a sack and be less obvious."

you only need a portion of the body for speak with dead. they can only answer what they actually know.

Ruthgar:

I have not witnessed the interrogation personally, only heard second hand accounts. I think the head should suffice. Phil, do you want to do the honors with your new weapon? Perhaps fitting.

Phil will use his sword to sever the head (too much work with a spear!), and wishes he hadn't given away his axe... He'll let it drain a bit and then wrap in a cloak from one of the deceased cultists and pack it away.

You remove the head of the warrior and rest overnight in room 7, it is uneventful.

the next day everyone gains a HP and can recover spells

WP: I think you need to change that spell count for Balasar now that he has the ring he can memorize 2 not 1/1 ;)

Balasar studies through the night and is shocked when he is able to memorize more than a single spell for the day. "
Ah so this is what a normal mage feels like every day huh? Who knew."

took enlarge and detect magic this time.

Storm will memorise two light spells once again.

He is eager to be back in the city with Balasar and to try and unlock the incantations they have found to place into their books of magic.
