Have a question - do you guys want daily hex crawl - making camps, daily hunts, or a more quick and dirty way of moving from a to b, picking up the action faster. The 2nd option is a slight railroad, but I won't send you from set piece to set piece just because I want to. The world is open, and the directions you choose impact encounters. If you go west, it's different than going north.

I hope that makes sense.

Given the slow post rate, quick and dirty is preferred to move things along.

I'd probably favor what Grognard said, due to the posting. I love me some hex-crawling, but think I'll pick up my ticket for the "A&B Railroad". If you want to mix it up a bit later on, tossing in some hex-crawl type stuff after you feel you've gotten enough of the ball rolling, I'm game for that.

To my mind, that last post was perfect for a game like this :) Nice and informative, and quickly moving us to points of gaming interest. That's my 2 sea-shells worth ;)

Good stuff, be sure to ask questions in PMs if you like. I give away info that can be manipulated by clever thinking. Do not hesitate to ask. The world is to be interacted with, and to be learned from. This comes to mind, because I tossed a bone to Merc, and he missed it. Maybe, I was obtuse so it was a bad toss, but I think I did not lay down a groundwork that allows for players to fiddle with things and thus why it was missed. He didn't see it coming.

If Merc can figure it out, I will let him have the bone. I am a kind GM, sort of. :)

Heh... I'm posting at work atm... (Shhh! Hehe.) So it's a bit hard to focus. I do appreciate the head's up! When I get home tonight I'll comb that last post. Kind of cool to know you do that sort of thing ;)

Got some business to attend today, but it is my day off. I'll be back later on to comb the posts and generally catch up. Will post this evening at the latest.

My work schedule got bumped around this week. Today is usually my day off; I worked instead and am off tomorrow. Been a bit busy! Sorry for the lack of posting here. I am hoping things are normalizing now, though. ...Can't wait to see who this brown-cloaked fellow is!

Just so you know, I rolled the combat completely to this point. So the description describes actual events not stuff I simply made up to be cool.

Good Luck :)

Similar to the creatures from Attack the Block, then?

If you haven't seen the movie yet, it's quite good.

I saw that image and said those things are chasing after a huge conjoined bear monster. I am looking forward to watch the movie. Thanks Al, always good to know where things come from so I can steal more good stuff :)

It appears that the smaller beasts haven't suffered a drop in morale after the seeming leader of them has been felled... This is interesting to note. While I'm loathe to blast into such a conflict, with the larger creature obviously quite powerful, I can't but help to think that this individual might bare some information that we should gather. Alethan, Grognard, what say you?

Aye, he is our link to local information. Though maybe we'd run into another ;) Blood Skald knows his death day is coming (perhaps soon with 8 HP), so into the fray!
