In the lair of the Anguilla on the Planet Alluuvia in the Drift; Elrood Sector

In the pool in the center of the grotto, Zuul unloads all of his gear as his fellow NRI Agents all file into the cave lit by the bio-luminescent fungi covering the walls and he turns to face the large, scarred and eager-looking Anguilla Champion Benellatrix....

Perhaps it is the way the lighting in the calm pool reflects off the meter deep water, or perhaps it is the lulling sound of the waves of the ocean crashing against the shores of the island, but whatever it was.....the large Barabel was slow to respond to the shouted out "LET THE RITES OF CONCH-SHAR BEGIN!" and in the span of mere seconds the larger Anugilla champion raced forward and rocked the Barabel back with a lightning fast punch to the jaw and then with a twist, his tail lashed out and hit him in the chest hard enough to knock him down into the pool for a moment....

A gasp of shock and fear came out from his human companions along with a roar of 'GET BACK UP AND SMASH HIM!' from Kit the Wookie reached his ears while a strange deep droning sound of pleasure and delight seemed to emanate from all the gathered Anguilla and Zuul got back to his feet, shaking his head and rubbing his chest to dull the pain and clear the fog as he sought to get back into the fight*.....

*Zuul is at -1D to all actions for the next 4 rounds from the hits....

Kael will stay with his fellow agents, not particularly happy with the outcome. but is impressed with the huge frontal attack, which raised some questions about these people psyche.

Zuul

The Punch was expected, but the tail hurt. Zuul was starting to see blood and could barely remind himself not to bite in this unfair fight.

As he gets up he holds a mouthful of water in preparation for his attack. Moving closer, he sprays the water in the Anguilla's face, then moves to get behind and grapple and choke the champion. He will use a force point.

The Rites of Conch-Shar:

Zuul still a bit shaky from the blows, moves towards the Anguilla champion and skillfully spits water into his face and then moves quickly behind and gets into an excellent position to choke his larger opponent and then proceeded to so so. He can tell he inflicted a lot of pain and staggered the large 'fish-man' because while Benellatrix was able to wriggle free of the choke hold, his legs were wobbly and he was clearly unbalanced and unsteady, though the big Barabel was impressed the alien was still standing at all*....

Vale continued to focus on the Force vision of enough material and knowledge of the Force to begin a true return of the Order of Jedi Knights of old while Kit and Kato were enthralled in watching the match....

Professor Clark and the one time Diplomat Kael though were studying the Anguilla all around them and in turn, Anyar the leader noticed this and spoke to them. "So....the Ithorians tell me the Black and White Tail-less ones as well as the other group of Star Ocean sailors that were only here for a short time are here because of some of our rocks.....because they are used to make lots of things. Is this true? Is this why you are here?"

*Zuul can tell that Bennellatrix is Staggered (-2D to all actions) but not yet defeated....

:Your information is correct, the rocks are made up of many things, thru pressure or heat they can be taken out and separated, then that is reformed to make other things, like this.

Kael pulls out a metal stylus, avoiding pulling out anything like a weapon.
He lets Anguilla take it and look at it.

"Essentially, yes." Clark replies. "Except that we want to work together with you, so both of our peoples may benefit."

Zuul

The Barabel doesn't allow Benellatrix any space and closes again to strike quickly and hard. He strikes with his hands this time, a rapid succession of blows to the neck and head.

-The Rites of Conch-Shar

Benellatrix the Anguilla champion attempted to lash out at Zuul the Barabel, but he was very wobbly and weak and Zuul was easily able to duck the clumsy arm strike and block the tail slap and shove it down and out of the way with ease. He then stepped forward and launched a series of pummeling punches that quickly staggered Benellatrix and then dropped him to the water flat on his back, clearly knocked out....

There was a long moment of silence in the grotto and then a weird series of gurgling sounds emanated from the throng of Anguilla and the New Republic Agents all got a bit nervous before they realized the eel-like people were cheering. Benellatrix was dragged away from the pool by a couple of his fellows and gently laid down while Zuul staggered out and Kit quickly came over to make sure he was doing okay....

There was soon much patting on the backs of all of the New Republic Agents as Anyar proclaimed that since the 'Rites of Conch-Shar' had been passed by them, they were officially Allies to the Anguilla people!

Kael and Clark were soon in a very deep conversation with Anyar, talking about setting up some possible sites for the 'least disruptive' mining of minerals to be undertaken by RMC while also trying to coordinate a way to deal with the 'Tail-less Black and Whites' who had massacred a group of Anguilla when they attempted to make contact with them in much of the same way the NRI Agents had. It was clear the Anguilla were determined to mount an attack on the Imperial base, which after a thorough conversation the NRI Agents realized was almost certainly a standard Imperial 'Aquatic Garrison' base.

This would be a tricky operation to undertake, but it also became clear that the base's Powerful Communications Array could be used to inform RMC of the Alliance and summon some aide and help.....

While all of this was going on, Vale and Kato were able to actually feel through the Force a bit of the calming and supportive thoughts and feelings the Piscatorus was sending out to all of the inhabitants of the island and grotto. Truly, the Force worked in many different wonderful ways.....

OOC: Okay, so from Clark and/or Kael I'll need a KNO/Tactics (which is a skill that no one has any dice in, so it's Just KNO) and a PER/Leadership roll which will be used for the Planning/Inspiring of the proposed attack on the Imperial Aquatic Base. This will involve a good 100 or so Anguilla. The rolls can help determine best routes in/ways to attack the garrison, likely Imperial response, etc., etc.

Typical Aquatic Base, showing the surface level, there are also subsurface openings for Seatroopers and Skimmers to enter and exit the base as well:

Clark isn't much of a tactician, but he also concurs that the comm array should be our priority.

KNO/Tactics: [3d6+2]=9+2=11
PER/Leadership: [3d6+1]=9+1=10

In the lair of the Anguilla and approaching the Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base on the Planet Alluuvia in the Drift; Elrood Sector

The group of NRI Agents and the clan of the Anguilla they had befriended made plans on how best to deal with the nearby Imperial Aquatic Garrison Base....

The Base floated on the surface but had entrances/exits on the bottom of the hull for sub-service Seatroopers to leave/enter, along with their Sub-Skimmer patrol craft they used for both patrolling and to find and connect heavy cables to ore finds along the bottom of the ocean. The Base also had a docking port on the surface for the big AQ-5 Waveskimmer Attack Transports that were also used to reel up the cable-connected Ore chunks and finally, there were launch bays for the TIE Fighters that rose up above the Base. Therefore, any attack/assault would have to be careful and would be best done by infiltrating the base simultaneously from both below and from the surface.....and that meant capturing some Imperial Vehicles/Equipment....

Kael and Vale were the best at operating Repulsorlift Craft, which both types of Skimmers were related too and obviously the much-larger that most humans Zuul and Kit would be in a bit of a bind to try to quietly infiltrate the base, same with the Anguilla, so a simple, but work-able plan was agreed too.....

Kael and Clark would utilize some Seatrooper equipment and vehicles, once captured, to attempt to get into the Base from 'below' (i.e. Underwater). If this was accomplished, they could then jam the undersea doors open and a large number of Anguilla could quickly swim into the base. Undersea sensors from something as relatively small as the Anguilla had a pretty short range, so the Eel-like aliens could get quite close to the base and tread water just outside detection range until the Infiltration was successful and then with a quick call to a Comms wearing Anyar (who was taught how to work the fairly simple device), she could give the signal for her people to rapidly swim and swarm into the Base. Plus, Kael had done a GREAT job getting the Anguilla to believe in his quickly sketched out assault plan and they now looked to him for leadership.....

Meanwhile, Zuul, Vale, Kit and Kato and a group of say 20 Anguilla could make use of a captured AQ-5 'Sea AT-AT' Waveskimmer and dock with the base on the surface and make a coordinated attack at the same time. Zuul and Kit would be in this group for both the obvious reasons that they couldn't fit in the Seatrooper equipment and were neither great in the water; but also because Kit was a solid pilot and could back up Vale in that regard AND Zuul was good at fighting and in hopefully being able to blow up/cause problems with the TIE Fighter launching mechanisms so they wouldn't have to worry about being attacked from the air. Vale and Kato looked human and could hopefully use disguises to get close to the base, plus Vale knew how to operate Speeders, which Skimmers were related too.

That was the plan anyway.....but who knows what will happen when the plan goes into ACTION.....

-Vale, Kit, Zuul and Kato:

In a relatively short period of time, the Anguilla were able to quietly and quickly ambush a pair of Seatroopers using their Sub-Skimmers and hand these over to the NRI Agents Kael and Clark while at the same time, on a nearby tiny atoll, Zuul, Kit'katarra, Vale, Kato and about 20 Anguilla crouched behind rocks or floated JUST under the surface on the edges of the tiny island as a massive Imperial AQ-5 Waveskimmer slowed and came to a bobbing stop on the island and the hatch opened and one of the crewmen tossed out the retractable ladder and quickly climbed down to answer a call of nature....

In no time at all, that poor Imperial, along with the other 2 gray suited Imperial crewmen were knocked out, stripped of their uniforms and left on the island as the NRI Agents and the Anguilla moved quickly aboard the craft. Vale and Kato put on the uniforms and helmets while Z'uul and Kit and the Anguilla all moved back to the large troop bay and strapped in as they realized they were all too big to put on the last uniform. Vale was a bit shaky in moving the craft around and Kato looked at the Comms and Sensors controls in the Co-Pilot Chair with some confusion while no-one manned the Weapons controls station for operating the twin Laser cannons and Concussion Torpedo launchers. However, Vale soon had it moving fairly smoothly towards the Imperial base as the controls weren't THAT different from his Speeder. Kato eventually managed to make contact with Kael and Clark and confirm they were all on schedule and making their collective ways towards the Base....

The comms light started flashing and Vale and Kato heard in the ear-pieces built into their helmets an Imperial voice call out, "TK 531, why are you breaking your assigned Patrol Sweep pattern and heading back to base? Is there a problem?"

-Kael and Clark:

Donning the Captured Seatrooper Armor, both Kael and Clark (who feels a bit cramped in the armor as his trooper wasn't as tall as he is) feel more than a little weird in the gear, but a quick comms check with each other, Anyar and the other team of NRI Agents reveals the comms are working fine and they man the Sub Skimmer craft; Kale getting the hang of it quickly while Clark figures it out in a much more slow and sloppy fashion, but soon both are moving towards the Base with a pack of some 50 Anguilla swimming along beside them....

Seatrooper Armor and Gear (they have a Spear Gun Carbine):

Sub Skimmer:
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/starw ... 0626161153[/imgurl=]

When they reached the limits of the bases undersea sensors range, they signal Anyar and she stops her group of Anguilla and the two one time Rebels continue on. Soon, they can see the dark, murky outline of the bottom of the Aquatic Base and not long after that they see the closed undersea doors leading into the Garrison. A couple of messages hit them one right after the other. First, they hear from Kato that the surface team is closing in on the base on the surface, right on time, then comes a message from the Imperials....

"Sub Skimmer Patrol AZ-47, I see you've returned to Base, please give the Code for re-entry and we'll open the undersea hatch for you"

(OOC: Okay, so both teams are being pinged.....the Surface Team they're wondering why you're back so early, the undersea team they are asking for a Code. There are multiple options for you all to take....you can try to Con, Command, flat out attack, ignore, etc., etc.)
