Character Creation

Character creation can begin immediately even though we have a couple more PC slots to fill. There is no limit to the number of types of races or types of classes in the party. The following process will be used:

Step 1: Rolling of Ability Scores

a. Access the secure dice rolling site listed below

b. Roll 4d6 dropping the lowest. Do this 6 times

c. Email the DM the results directly from that page (the email address is found on the Tavern Tales site under Contacts or PM Omega1143 for it)

d. The DM will verify the receipt with a return email

e. Once you receive the return email you may proceed to Step 2

Step 2: Creation and Character Sheet Completion

a. Place your rolls in any ability score you would like in an attempt to create the class of PC you desire (all stat requirements are to be met PRIOR to racial adjustments per the PHB)

b. Complete your character sheet using the one provided on Tavern Tales or one of your choosing. If choosing the latter the optional character sheet MUST contain all information that is included on the one provided on the website. If you have questions or need assistance along the way then the DM will be happy to oblige. If you do not wish to enter it into a character sheet then the DM will need all information emailed to him so he can enter it onto one. The reason being is each PC will have a completed character sheet posted on the website

c. Once received the DM will approve your PC and you can proceed to Step 3

Step 3: Background

a. On a WORD document, email or similar you will need to complete something as minimal as a fact sheet or as elaborate as a narrative describing your PC's background. Each PC will need a background. It is what you put into it. If you do not wish to be very detailed or creative the DM will provide one for you. The DM will also assist in fleshing it out and providing you with ideas to finalize it
