Which kind of map do you prefer?

I'm curious which style of map you all like better. I've been using maps I found on the Internet for this module in MapTools. They look really cool, but I wonder if they're actually too detailed. And I really like the effect of Grognardsw's hand-drawn maps in his games. So maybe it would be better to leave more to the imagination?

I'd like your opinion. Here are two versions of the same map:

Old school is probably a little quicker. Less fiddling with tokens and lighting and such.

I like either way but old school would save you time and still get the point to us. ;)

oh come on, for sheer design and technicolour has to be map A, save the hand-drawn for role-playing on your tables!! Much more detail and sense of adventure and combat.
