The monsters take initiative.

Tybalt feels the cold nails of the ghasts rend his skin as his muscles freeze in place.

Tybalt - 12 damage! Paralyzed!!!!

Hollis sees the remaining hill giant heft his rusty blade, preparing for another deadly strike. The cleric tries to fend off the strike with his shield, but his defenses prove futile.

Hollis - 10 damage!

The remainder of the party prepares to retaliate . . . Sulara reaches for her dagger, while still hidden. Vorsyin prepares a spell. Gaerys nocks an arrow.

Just as the party acts, perceptions fade to black. No light, no sound. The Void yawns before them.
