Perhael clutches his book of laws and his quill and tries to make himself as invisible as possible amongst the group of villagers.

Abney places his lantern on the ground to the side so as not to let it get knocked about in the coming moments. He grips his pole tightly as he stands shoulder to shoulder with those defying the kobolds.

Smelly Seth keeps his sling loaded and ready to launch its missile as his sharp eyes dart amongst the Kobolds, backing up a bit and ready to use his weapon if things go the way he's pretty sure they are about to go....

Betsy Cartmaker takes a deep breath and clutches her club in her strong arms, stepping forward and ready to fight for her life and the lives of her fellow villagers as Frank Fruitcastle nervously clutches his Dagger and shakily does the same, though his eyes are wide and fear is written all over his features.....

Talya Snaresetter unwittingly imitates Seth the beggar; keeping her sling at the ready, closely watching the Kobolds and ready to fling a stone at them at the first sign of trouble as she steps back and out wide a bit, to giver herself room to use her weapon.....

Ingrid Bloom
Ingrid never thought she would be in a situation like this in her life. She takes a few steps backwards to leave some space between her and the folks in front of her and looks back in the direction of Reuna while drawing her longsword from its scabbard. As she scans about she looks around for anything that might be a tasty distraction for an angry wolf.

The leader of the dog men waits for the party's response. As he does, Ingrid looks around for anything she thinks would be tempting for a wolf. GM rolls dice. Off the road she does see a limb from a recently deceased villager that has been (for lack of a more polite term) cooked by the nearby fires.

When the leader sees the party does not intend to surrender, he sneers, as if this was the outcome he was hoping for. "Verrrry well. Meet a similarrrr end as the otherrrrrrrrrs."

He barks a command in his native language. They all advance on the party as the leader pulls a rolled piece of parchment from his robe.

Actions?

Ferd, sensing trouble from the scroll, shifts his target priority to the leader and fires at it, instead.
Gerd will stay close to his brother and attack any target that comes close enough, but he's feeling less confident about the situation by the minute.
Sonja will not seek out battle, but will attack an enemy that is trying specifically to attack her, trying to feign as helpless until they get close enough for her to surprise them with an attack.
Zelda will aggressively defend her fellow townsfolk from attackers--she'll move to attack any enemy that makes a hostile action against a townfolk that she can see.
Well, I sure hope this isn't how my rolls are going to be the whole way through...3 out of 4 attack rolls 1 or 2, 3 out of 4 damage rolls a 1.

Ingrid Bloom

Ingrid hurries to the side of the road. She looks at the charred limb, wondering if it was a leg or an arm. Was it someone she knew?

She feels revulsion at the cruelty of these dog-headed creatures and grabs a scrap of cloth or clump of natural debris to hold the limb. She faces the sneering attackers and braces herself for their forthcoming attack, specifically with an eye on the wolves.

What is the current situation? Are the dog-headed men advancing and the wolves still quenching their thirst?

If they are already approaching I would like to hurl the limb in the path of the nearest wolf.

Smelly Seth of the 'Beggar's Guild' sees the enemy approach and winding up his sling, he launches a stone at the closest wolf....

Damage if it hits (I'm assuming his +2 DEX bonus does NOT apply to damage):

Talya Snaresetter does the same, only she launches her sling stone at the nearest Kobold.....

Damage if it hits:

Betsy Cartmaker stares angrily at the approaching Kobolds and when one gets too close, she yells out "TAKE THAT YOU....YOU....MONSTER!" and swings her Club at it....

Damage if it hits (I'm assuming her STR of 15 gives a +1 to damage, if not, apologies):

Frank Fruitcaslte, doing his best to stand by Betsy, swallows nervously and then launches an attack on the same Kobold with his Knife....

Damage if it hits (likewise using the +1 from his STR 13 in the damage):

Perhael tries to stand behind as large a group as possible in order to keep his person from any harm. Should anything get close enough, he will stab at it with his quill while screaming, "Get away... get away!!"

At the front of the group, Abney swings his staff around, try to keep anything that approaches at bay. He continues swinging it till something comes close and then directly swings at it yelling "Wha-pow!"

Samwell, please give a d20 luck check (DC 15) to see if the limb distracts the wolf. Good luck!

Ingrid Bloom
Ingrid sees a wolf advancing towards their group of travelers. She adjusts her grip and tosses the limb towards the nearest wolf. As she is lobbing it, some chunks fly off and make it wobble in the air a little to the side of where she intended to throw it.

Wolf Distraction [1d20]=12 with a -1 for a result of 11. I may need to spend luck liberally.
