Gillespie’s Dragonslayers

I see Greg Gillespie’s Barrowmaze being played on US and I was wondering if anyone has used the Dragonslayer RPG rules of his? understand it’s a mishmash of B/X and LL AEC with his house rules baked in, the system he used for his games. Has anyone played it? Would they ever use it?

I collect rulebooks even if I never use them. Sometimes I mine useful stuff from them to use for other systems. I have all of Gillespie’s adventures and thought it might be cool to use the same system some day.

I think the rules just came out recently so not sure very many have had a chance to play them yet. I haven't. Wouldn't be opposed to giving them a try but I didn't find it interesting enough to back the kickstarter.

I’ve looked at a teaser of the first few pages and checked out several videos. The way it plays out reminds me of my first years playing DnD and the art! I want to buy this for the art alone. But the price, gads!
