This location was first discovered by Golgarth, Dalin & Gunter on their Favours Expedition.
It is a small, seemingly insignificant place, a huddle of wooden log cabins and stilted buildings erected by frontiersmen who eek out a living from the Cypress creeks that border the southern banks of the Moorwash River. The commune is located north of Bogtown and a small trail can be taken that intersects the main trade route to the Old Dwarf Bridge.
Bittersweet suffered an attack by trolls who carried off livestock and captives, taking them into the creek waters and away in canoes under the command of some cultic influence.
The commune is not large but has at least cleric among the residents and several shifty looking characters who engage in Moonshine production.
"We are a small commune. The place is hardly on any maps, such as we are, a clan of woodcutters and gatherers. Bittersweet, a name the creek takes that haunts us still.
You would be welcome among us should you pass this way again."
