Excluding admissions for fighting and over-indulgence, the hospital admits about 280 people a year of which 4 are critical.
About 22 births are overseen each year (in conjunction with the Clinic) - which slightly exceeds the death rate for illness and old age.
Despite the system's reputation for disorder, the Hospital only deals with a few violent injuries each month with very few resulting in death each year.
(n.b. The Murder Rate per 100,000 is about as high as the most violent Terran cities in pre-spaceflight times, but the small population size means that not many actually die.)

This is the hall that was the original base's deepest level: The rest of Leyland was subsequently tunnelled from here. The space in which the powerplant complex is housed about 40,000 dTons in size, and is 36m tall.
The powerplant is not run at full capacity as Koenig's Rock has not expanded to need that much power.
In the powerplant space are not just the fusion generator but also a fuel purifier plant and ice-storage.
The purifier is a major part of Rock's air-supply and air-recycling system.
The Powerplant requires considerable maintenance and much of this is supplied by a small fleet of specialist Engineering Droids.
