"That does indeed describe the boy. As I said he was unconscious and under the care of the temple priests, I am not sure if they will even allow you to see him this soon, but if you feel you must I understand of course."

He moves to allow her to pass, then thinking it best to keep an eye on her while the others do the more important work. "Would you like an escort to the temple?"

Nesta smirks at the woman's unusual reaction to his simple question, standing there looking at the closed door.

"Was it something I said?" He jokes quietly.

He whispers to the others. "That was a bit of a cold reception, no? I am starting to believe there is more to this woman and this weird place of hers than meets the eye."

He steps away from the house again, heading back to the lane, nonchalantly trying to get a look at any other nearby activity they might not have seen from the porch.

Thinks Vatn quite clever offering to escort the woman and thus keep her within sight. She will play up her duty as guard to Vatn and the escorted woman.

Thorily speaks, in a low voice.

"More than meets the eye, for sure. Question is, what do we do about it?

She leans in and whispers the rest.

"No sign from Mudlark, wonder how she is doing. Is our best shot to try to sneak inside while she goes to the temple? Or I could try to talk to Lucinda and Whitney to see if there's anything to be gotten there? I could try to join them even? I mean, for the sake of solving this mystery, of course."
